There was a guy who went to my HS, a couple years older than me, who took hormone injections. The guy was such a weirdo. Could totally tell he was lost/confused about his identity. I actually feel really bad for people like that. Must be the worst feeling in the world to not know who you are/be secure with oneself.
I don't really know who I am, but injecting myself with hormones and trying to grow a pair of tits hasn't yet come up for consideration in my search for identity.
Gynecomastia or overdeveloped male breast tissue is a medical condition that is rarely talked about but is actually quite common. Gynecomastia affects an estimated 40 to 60 percent of men. It may affect only one breast or both. Though certain drugs and medical problems have been linked with male breast overdevelopment, there is no known cause in the vast majority of cases.
