Love the recessed equipment. Did you build that?

I've thought about doing something like that myself, looks so clean and hides all the cables.

I had a friend build it for me

It really made my gear and the room as a whole look so much more tidy, and I thought the black laminate would look cool with the mixer, cdjs and turntables all in black too

They're called "Hejan" in Germany, but they are sold out here. I have 4 black ones, they're really nice.

They came in black and some strange color between green and blue... too bad they're discontinued, my collection is growing.

So far I frikkin' love it, and I haven't even gotten setup with the MIDI controller yet..

The EQs are fantastic, full cut FTW!! The faders are long and VERY smooth, not to mention none of that annoying "volume blast" between 8-10 like on so many other mixers.. So sweet.. The knobs are perfect, they are the size that I wish my Denon X1500 had when that. The front mounted headphone jack is PRIME, I hate having my cans plugged in ontop of the mixer... SO many things.. haha... only complaint so far is the "TAP" light button in the MIDI controller section keeps blinking and won't stop.. but its kinda trippy.. hahaha..
