This is the end of an era for milan. I think overall ancelotti has done well with what he's had to work with.

It's time for him to step aside and let someone else take over and hopefully freshen up the team.

I feel sorry for maldini, his final season and he isn't going to end it with any silverware. A great player like him deserves better.

Well maybe feeling sorry for him isn't the right phrase, i'd just have liked to see him bring his career to an end on a high note, instead of with nothing to show for his final season with milan.

Maybe he should have retired after the champions league final last year - I think he perhaps wanted to try and get the serie a title back from inter before giving up.

Arsenal well deserved to beat AC Milan, fair play to them! <3

Losing at home to Arsenal is fitting since it sums up Milan's current season in a nutshell

Big thanks to all the boys who led us to the victories of all the three major cups in the past last year, it was a superb moment and will be looked back upon for decades. And finally to Maldini, a legend who will never be forgotten but will always be remembered for his many qualities on and off the pitch with the Rossoneri. VIVA PAOLO AND FORZA MILAN

Looks like there's a lot going on with Milan, Andriy Shevchenko looks like he might be making a move back and Ronaldinho is in talks of coming to Milan. My only hope is that they make it to the 4th spot and qualify for the Champions league next year. The Juventus match this Saturday looks to be a good one.

i can't understand why we would want to bring back shevchenko, another 30+ player is not what we need. Ronaldinhio is another one I'm on the fence with, he looks like he's lost his appetite but then this might just be because he is playing in a team where he doesn't feel welcome, still I don't think he's the type of player milan need to start the rebuilding process.

2 or 3 new defenders would be top of the list and a couple of half decent pacey midfielders as wel.

Sucks to be a milan fan right now.

Didn't watch the game but i can't be too happy about the result. Agree with u Chesco, Ronaldinho is not needed as far as im concerened as he plays the same position as Kaka and Sheva will not serve the same qualities as he brought to us in the past though he knows the team very well.

what we need is:
2x central defenders
1x wingback
1x top class striker
1x wing midfielder

actually was able to see some of the Milan Juve game

prob one of the best serie a games ive seen this year. Got a little messy in the 2nd half, and I coudnt help but notice the diving competition between Gattusso and Del Pierro throughout, they were even laughing about it with each other on some obvious dives when playing for a ball.

and wtf happened to Kaka??? not to long ago I was saying he was the best player in the world , but now...

I think he's out on loan to a Brasilian club.

As for a striker, Pato will be one of the future stars of Milan.

He's out for the rest of the season with another knee injury.

He has said he'll be back to play again tho.

His injuries held him back so much.

This is true.. reminds me of the movie lock stock and two smoking barrels

"You are not funny Tom. You are fat and loook as though you should be but you are not."

i wonder if he just ate so much or what? i mean he would still score goals when he was fat... so he wasnt really fat. But it also did not look like muscle.

it's probably what led to his knee injury - weak muscles around the knee joint

say what you will, but even at his worst Ronaldo was a force on the pitch. one can't help but wonder what it would've been like without the knee-ligament injuries that plagued him throughout his career.

of course the same can be said of Van Basten and many others.

Latest rumour going around is Ruud van Nistelrooy could be coming to Milan. Personally, I wouldn't mind him but I don't think he would be the first priority of strikers we need. Thoughts?

As much as I love watching van Nistelrooy play and I think he would be a good addition to Milan, Berlusconi should be going for younger players.

Hes another 30+ player, but one that still seems to cut it anywhere he goes. this is what belursconi had to say in an interview which is quite interesting.

quote:
"Another very important player is on the way. He is a powerful centre-forward who I shall not name.

"We are ready to sign two world class players for next season and there will be world class players in defence, too."

Van nistelrooy doesn't fit that description of powerful, so i wonder who it is. Also encouraging to see that he has recognised the defensive frailties.
