one of the best opening games i've seen!

despite the win, i know klinsman is going back to the drawing board, cuz zee Germans didn't look like a WC winning team. Brazil would have walked over that defense! Lehnman is not to blame for both goals though. Didn't have to face much but those two goals he really couldn't do anything. I think they will give Kahn the next game though. some points:

- 2nd goal by Wanchope = clear offside!!
- Torsten Frings goals was retarded! First goal was a beauty too
- Klose is having another great campaign, Germany's Footballer of the Year is gonna repeat his 2002 WC performance, except this time with his feet and not his head

Poland is down but not out. I call for tying goal late in the game and a 1-1 draw.

Germany had Possession 65% Consistantly, 10/20 Shots on goal vs. 2-3 for C.S. The scary thing was 2 GA from the 2 shots.
Also they Would have been a little more conservative defensively against Brazil NO?

They Game should have been 5-1 at least!
Anyways a 2 goal margin is an upset
either way in International Football!

Hopefully Khan let's in a few bad one's and let's the Poles back into this tourney, cause i just don't see them getting anywhere with their new 4-5-1 style of play.
I'm gutted but still believe Poland will give the Germans a good fight, either in the stadium or on the streets.

they are... but as long as all their players are good to go for the game Sunday I think they should come out on top with the win. I believe their record is 4-0-0 against the former Yugoslavia, but then again you never know I suppose.

as for Nona.. she never really watched it.. but if my grandfather were alive.. he would kick my ass for ever saying such a thing. He was the last cut from the national team when he was 18, then after being cut decided to move to Canada where his father was already living. yes but this is not a traditional german team, finally someone brought a creative attacking style of play to germany and its absolutely beautiful. but the defence is terrible, thats klinsmans biggest trouble. if he could organize them theyd win the cup.
