oh noes j00 have him at allz... good news hes on your bench... so trade him for someone cheap ( $66,500 - $80,000 ) who is about to play their third game next week... then use your second trade and the money left over to upgrade one of your players in your 22

Thats ok, I didnt pick symes this week either ( my non ta team )

After 2 weeks of frantic reconciliation with Chris Judd I am glad to announce i have managed to convince him to renjoin 2 of my teams after i stupidly sacked him 3 hours before he played a record smashing game and went on to play 2 more amazing matches without him in my team. ShiT!!! is all i can say about that, what an expensive blunder and process to get him back.

My teams are in for this weekend and i am looking forward to seeing how they go.

I noticed Motlop (ports one) is dropped again, also noticed that he is in the top 5 most popular picks in the stats section. I know him being in and out of the team all season is starting to piss me off, i imagine a few others here might be in the same boat?

i think i've had him from the start, don't think he's done much for me...

Posted by jono4L on May-19-2006 16:13:

he has had some decent games for a cheap new first year player but he is in one week and out the next and i keep having issues finding subs.

ie: i also have Ryder up forward but every week motlop is dropped Ryder is included in the long essendon I/C list and is only 50/50 of actually getting a run, so i may have a hole in my forward line this week.

I dumped Motlop weeks ago, and dumped Dew last weekend, both have been very disappointing. Lost about 60,000 on Dew too.
Almost had Judd as captain this week, but decided to go with Roo as Crows are playing Richmond, so he should score well.

this might just be my personal opinion but i rate Dew very highly as a player, and whilst he isnt in my team, i wouldve persisted with him, even if he was down on $$$ so far this year, mark my words he will come good at some point this season...

Posted by skot_e on May-20-2006 01:30:

Don't get me wrong, I rate him too, but the best round I have had with him is about 60. He has been a week in week out layabout, good for nuthin, son of a ... you get my point. Maybe this week in the SANFL will give him the spark he needs to perform, after all it worked for him a few seasons ago. He originally had trouble breaking into the side coz choco said he was overweight. he has been a fan favourite the whole time tho.
Your probably right tho, I'll come to regret it by seasons end.

Well that was a bad idea, third quater and he's just got his third possesion. @#$!

Posted by Trance Nutter on May-20-2006 08:26:

damn.

Picked up Hart to replace kennelly so was expecting big things, and he goes and breaks his wrist! I'll persist as i've got Roberts-Thompson and Hurn on the bench, hopefully he's not out for more than 5.
Yeah, I've got Motlop too. I'll keep him but hoping to pick up two consistent forwards next week to compensate.

oh, it gets worse.
My centres:
Roo - 4 possessions and 1 goal
Bode - 5 handballs
D. Harris - 10 possessions

yay. My reserves (Symes and Pearce) will probably each outscore those three combined

man had $5 on the pies to win by 39.5+ and for bucks to get most possestions.

got the win paying at $35 fkn bucks finished second to cameron ranga would have paid out $68

still a great win

THE FIFTEEN YEAR DROUGHT IS ALMOST OVER

Posted by jono4L on May-20-2006 22:01:

I did it again!

I traded Joel Bowden out of my team on friday as part of my trade chain needed to get Judd back into my team and Bowden goes out and gets 171 points by my calculations!

Its way too early in the season to be claiming a flag, if Collingwood are at or near their peak now and i suspect they are then they are going to have trouble sustaining it and West Coast has a scary amount of improving to do, they only get better as the season goes on.

Posted by jizza on May-21-2006 03:05:
