I can certainly see us battling Washington and maybe even winning in 6 or 7. Same goes for Boston. I know a few Bruins fans none of them want to face Montreal because of the playoff history, both past and more recent.

I'd like to avoid New Jersey (hopefully they get knocked out). You never know...as long as the goaltending keeps up, you never know. Realistically though I think the Cup will go to the West again.

I like Josh Georges...as a 4th of 5th defense man, not playing 26 minutes a game. Gainey is pulling the same shit as Carbo did, trying to match a defensive line against the other teams top line. The result = the opposing coach sees this, constantly double shifts his best line, leaving ours on the bench for most of the game.

obyrne is god awful. i will never support that guy....especially since i was at the game where he scored on his own net (which ended up costing me a pair FREE tickets to another habs game this season due to a promotion if the habs won that game i was at).

as much as i think that bettman is a little rat, i don't blame the cup not being back in canada on him.

if anything the salary cap and a few other policies he put in (BIG EXCEPTION ON THE REVENUE SHARING POLICY), has actually given Canadian team a better shot at competing then they had before it was put into place.

i saw that too, the thing with that being, schneider's personal physician is based in Manhattan. My gf works at BC, and she saw him in a sling yesterday. Fingers crossed still.
