Agreed. I think Gasol would fit nicely, though he would have to learn to play defense.

That and bring Steve Kerr out of his grave.

Russell Westbrook has the league's back-to-back scoring champion as a teammate and shot 13 more times than him tonight.

Ridiculous is putting it nicely.

Chicago putting some distance between ATL here.

NBA MATCHFIXING SUCKS.

but you see it gives LIP to cocky players like WADE and BYNUM

who have no fucking reason to be cocky, and on purpose try to injure players on the other team.

its a shame what the league turned into.

oh wait this happens everywhere else too.

LOL dude, you must be high. watched every series, every call, every game.

I've analyzed what BAD/GOOD call was made, at what time of the game, the effect it had for the rest of the quarter,

and which team was the beneficiary.

sounds like you got work to do

GET THOSE +50 to help you out.

you might need +1000

What the fuck are you even talking about?

What's your formula for analyzing every single call that's made and how it affects the outcome of the game btw? You+being an idiot = made up stats?

THE STATS DON'T LIE. I CAN CATEGORICALLY PROVE THAT EVERY GAME HAS BEEN FIXED THUS FAR!

Seriously though, this stuff makes Tim Donaghy look like Mr. Rogers. Be afraid.

And you're the poster child of it, you incoherent retard.

There's a clear difference between Wade and Bynum, considering one got ejected and the other didn't. Players get tangled up in basketball very frequently. Players elbow other players in the ribcage very infrequently. See the difference, or are you too jacked up on yourself to think clearly?

Posted by Burn Notice on May-11-2011 17:49:

Just a 5 game suspension on Bynum for the foul on Barrea. Pathetic. Should have been at least 10. Especially for a repeat offender and the fact he had no remorse shortly after the game. At least Lakers look to get even worse next year.

I agree that it doesn't seem all that bad, but add up what he would be getting paid if he played those 5 games. He's losing over 900 grand.

Agreed. It's funny that he didn't apologize until after the suspension. I wouldn't be surprised if the league told him he had to apologize as part of the punishment. I doubt he would have if they hadn't. His "apology" was clearly written for him.

And how much money would JJ Barrea have lost if he landed on his wrist breaking it? Or how about collapsing a lung like Bynum did to Gerald Wallace last year?

He is losing the Lakers franchise a ton more money due to the bad PR alone. He should be taking the major blunt and be suspended 20 games because this is the THIRD time he has done this EXACT move on a player. The league needs to make an example of him and show this type of nonsense will not be tolerated. 5 games is just a fraction of the games he is gonna miss with his annual knee injury. So glad those fucks got swept.

Stern and co are definitely taking the Heat to the finals. A Dallas-Miami showdown would yield the highest ratings.

Posted by srussell0018 on May-11-2011 21:21:

God damn stop with all the NBA conspiracy theories. Refs make bad calls from time to time. That's not the NBA or David Stern trying to influence who makes the finals so they get better ratings.
