Had a look around in an inner city 2nd-hand record shop whilst on a lunchtime walk, came home with the no. 1 record on my "classic prog" wantlist

I'm hoping to be able to do some digging in Amsterdam this year during the Katharsis/Dekmantel weekend. Got any tips besides what pops up on the first Google search results?

I'd say have a look at Killacutz in the "Nieuwe Nieuwstraat" (New New Street ), basically inbetween Dam Sq. and Central Station. I can't say much about what they have on offer regarding kinds of records you post about on here, but it might be worthwhile. Their shop stock is different from their online stock, as they're on Discogs marketplace under the same name, and it's all techno, minimal, prog, tech house, breaks and so on.

I bought a second hand copy of The Inner Sanctuary Sessions mix compilation a few weeks back. It's on Youtube, of course, but it's so good I wanted a physical copy. Something of a forgotten gem, that compilation.

Lol, if you also got it at that online marketplace I got the last remaining copy arriving tomorrow I prefer not to pay as much for "VG+" cds, but exactly the same argument here

Got to love Amazon now and again - picked up a copy of Son Kite - Minilogue (CD) for just over two British quid. It may not be the prettiest anymore but albums like this can be hard to come by for a decent price. Hypnotic music from times gone by.

Whilst it may not be too special in a technical sense, it's difficult to go wrong with two CDs filled with Fluid Recordings tracks from that golden era. Don't mind at all having added this to my collection at the cost of just a few quid.

Jeez, that's like the ultimate Detroit/Berlin techno history starter pack. I think some German techno DJs were playing the Elektrochemie LK remix of Soul On Soul during the time it came out, but still, oof. Not even Thomas Schumacher could save that pile of dung.

I'll at least be picking up the repress of Susumu Yokota - Acid Mt. Fuji at my local vinyl shop tomorrow. I finally have some cash to buy vinyl again, as I don't have any gigs planned for a while that I need to prowl Juno and Bleep for.
