Hah valencia apparently offered 17 million pounds plus washed up fossil roberto ayala for the winker. Whats with all the Spanish clubs thinking they are in dreamland all of a sudden with Madrid thinking they can land Kaka, valencia thinking they can land Ronaldo and Barcelona thinking they can win La Liga for the third time.

Posted by fastmp3 on Aug-04-2006 11:37:

you know the latter is the reality

todays news, apparently sir alex has revealed why Ruud & he fell out. One night at a club function, ruud was wearing the same brand shoes as sir alex. he took offence & forced him out.

It is indeed not enough money to sign Ronaldo, but i don't think Valencia would be such a bad destination for him, although he might try to clean his image in England, staying in Man Utd.

Indeed that would be the right thing to do for him. It will just take a couple of goals on his part to get the united faithful on his side but if he can endure a dive free season in england, the general public will maybe pay more attention to his talent which is no doubt up there with the very best.

But for now he is still the winker wanker IMO.

Experts proclaim that the foul was barely deserving of a freekick let alone a red card.

I am starting a stop bias against scousers who dont play for liverpool group .

That ref was a joke, Wazza's sending off was a disgrace

Now he and Scholesy could miss the first three games in the league

On the plus side, another win, another goal for Wazza, Scholesy and Ole, and Carrick had a good first game

Posted by noikeee on Aug-05-2006 17:49:

The red card for Rooney was exagerated (should've been a yellow IMO), but he still shown again what a moron he is.

the crazy pig hits again..

The winker wanker scores twice and gets a heroes reception from the old trafford faithful. Yet another failed attempt by the british media to evoke sentiments.

what the hell is United waiting for and doing in the transfer market. This will be what the 3rd year in a row where they sell one of their best players and not replace him or sign a quality player. If United thinks they can win the title with the squad they have now they are on crack.

Carrick is not the solution either

Carrick is really good and will do well to fill in the gap left by keane but as far as any others go, theres no high quality player available in the market right now.

Everyone we were interested in want to stay with their clubs or have already made transfers. Lets see when Madrid decide which of their strikers is surplus to requirements, hopefully we will buy one of them.

Carrick is no where near worth that fee mate...also with all those juve players available you missed the boat...

Its true we overpaid for carrick but United were desperate for a holding midfielder and the clubs knew that. Plus the fan groups were putting pressure on fergie for signings so that didnt help either.

Agree about the Juve players but the only one we could have (and should have) realistically landed was zambrottab but Barca moved quickly and efficiently while it seemed we were slacking. Cannavaro already knew were he was going and Emerson and Vieira are getting old so from a long term perspective, Carrick was probably a better buy.

and now we'v been heavily linked with Adriano for 30 million

atleast the british media has a lot of faith in us

Posted by InterMilan31 on Aug-10-2006 15:40:

30 million pounds? if that is right I say sell him although I doubt he would want to go to Manchester

Posted by raveed on Aug-11-2006 00:19:

64,000 season tickets already sold this year - almost equivalent to the stadium capacity last season that has since been bumped up from 67,000 to 76,000.

Who says United are losing their charm.

Posted by zoric on Aug-20-2006 13:00:

We've played 18 minutes, and United leads against Fulham, 4:0. This reminds me of Real Zaragoza vs. Real Betis last season, it's just that the game probably won't end 4:3, but 9:0 or something like that instead..

Stupid Fulham manager, get Runstrm the chance while you can't do shit against United now.

cristiano ronaldo + rooney = love comes again

what a great shot from ronaldo against the bar, didnt see any replay of it but thought it was with the outside of his right foot

Posted by Kytracid on Aug-24-2006 10:40:

Adriano is a sulky, lazy, c*unt. Plus, he's Brazilian. Those bastards never settle well in England. Juninho was the only exception.

United quite frankly don't need him. Let him stay at Inter for another season. He'll probably want to fuck off after he finds his chances reduced with the arrival of Crespo and that other lazy sack of shite, Ibrahimovic.

United have finally broken free of the shackles of playing in a system where the target striker wasn't very mobile. Ruud's gone - thank god for that. He's a legend and all, but the last few years he's been a lazy c*unt. United attack with him gone suddenly has a bit of cut and thrust about them. Saha and Rooney are perfect foils for each other. Quick, powerful, and hungry for goals. With Giggs and Ronaldo on the wings, the entire attacking half of United can now bomb forward instead of playing to Ruuds strengths as a goal poacher which is what they had been doing with that shitty 4-5-1 system.

So in closing...Fuck Adriano. He's an overhyped, overpriced, depression prone turd. He's at home with Inter - in the crybaby league.

If United do move for a striker (and i don't know if they really need one at this stage or not) - I'd rather see, Torres or Tevez being brought in. Torres more so then Tevez. But either would do just fine...
