and the 1972 Dolphins are very happy today

Posted by Rockabye on Nov-20-2006 00:18:

Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeesssssssssss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They did it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And now they will easily go to the play-offs. Because of McNabb's season-ending injury Philadelphia is out of the race and with 6-4 there are only the Panthers, Saints and Falcons that can get dangerous for them.

yah yah, tell me about Campbell, I don't get skins games unless they're on national TV so I didn't get to see his debut. Is our future looking bright?

Yeah. He did good today, 2 TDs, almost 200 yards. He has a great arm, he can run as well, he is also huge. I think this is our guy. The Skins have some many problems, so just having him as a QB will not get us a bling bling, but we have always searched for a QB, now we just have to be patient with this guy. We also cant go around and buy players with all that money, we need a good manager and get the best out of people and not get dependent on players have a big price on them. Anyways, we will see.

right on. we've played 17 different starting qbs in the last 14 years.

Speaking of money we need to get rid of Archuleta. He's expensive and he blows, and when Vincent retires probably at the end of this season it'll be a major problem area.

popped it today, and unlike last year when I popped it and the cork flew into a cup full of dr.pepper that spilled and ruined one of my homework assignments and how I lost control of the bottle I opened and it spilled into my pants and my girl came home 2 minutes later and thought I had just pissed on myself,...yeah everything went well this time.

thats was after the Bears game...

however, today I once again had a slight mishap popping the champaigne :x

but shit im happy,I officially am a Tony Homo fan now for him doing this. While Peyton Manning fantasy owners just got a little wake up reminder as to his usual late season struggles. That guy who was the TA league defending champ, whats his name I forgot.. is soooo screwed!

and wtf the Phins seem to be doing the same shit they did last year. Its great but...it will be so hard for them to get into the playoffs. I dunno whats up with Saban and the early season struggles. Its like we've choked when the season starts and all the pressure was on us and now that its off we win like crazy.

Waters dies of self-inflicted gunshot wound

Waters dies of self-inflicted gunshot wound
Associated Press
Posted: 2 hours ago

FORT VALLEY, Ga. (AP) - Andre Waters, a defensive back who spent most of his 12 seasons in the NFL with the Philadelphia Eagles, was found dead of a self-inflicted gunshot wound early Monday. He was 44.

His body was found at about 1:30 a.m. at his Tampa home, the medical examiner's office said. He had shot himself in the head. Toxicology reports were ordered and results will be available in four to six weeks, the office said.

Waters' body was found by his girlfriend, Hillsborough County sheriff's spokeswoman Debbie Carter said. The woman's name was not available, and the sheriff's office had no further details, Carter added.

Waters, an assistant football coach at Fort Valley State in Georgia, joined the Eagles out of Cheyney State in 1984 and played with them at cornerback and safety through 1993. He was known as one of the NFL's hardest hitters and often was fined for some of his tackles. He spent his last two seasons with the Arizona Cardinals.

"Everybody has been in such shock," Fort Valley State spokeswoman Cindy Gambill said.

Waters was in his first year coaching at the school. Many students, including football players, are not on campus this week because of Thanksgiving.

Football coach Deondri Clark lauded Waters for an "outstanding" college career that enabled him to make the NFL.

Waters, who was born in Belle Glade, also coached at Morgan State, South Florida and Alabama State before coming to Fort Valley State this summer.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete.

R.I.P. to one of the underrated defensive backs that great Philly defense was back in the late 80s / early 90s with Eric Allen, McMillian, Jerome Brown, Reggie White, and crew. Sadly enough, i think this is the 3rd or 4th defensive player from their crew that died early. Philly curse?

Posted by Dj Smitty20 on Nov-21-2006 02:08:

Reggie White was a great player but boy, was he ever a fuckind idiot off the field.

God, there is so much crap being thrown around in here, and I can't get to it all... so all I will say...

Brady > Me > You!

They both need to take classes on how to deal with pressure situations.

Posted by King Ecnal on Nov-21-2006 20:21:

Don't be so tough.... they're both going to be Fantasy studs for years to come.... then they CHOKE in the playoffs... you can't ask for much more... this is why I love Peyton and Eli...

They'll get you mad points and beat your teams during the year, but then choke BAD agaisnt your team in the playoffs... it always works out in the end... no worries...

Posted by Member of X on Nov-21-2006 20:37:

Eli is currently ranked 11th in fantasy points for a QB and dropping fast. Mad points? Bit of an overstatement? lol

You're taking too much credence to the first few weeks, he's been struggling for 6 weeks at least. He'll eventually be a top QB but he's clearly not there YET.

Don't forget that Tiki's got a bum thumb, and Toomer's out for the season (I think). Important loss for the team; and I remember Tiki fumbling last week too because of the thumb - didn't get a chance to watch the game last night, but had the ESPN Gamecast running and it looked boring

Oh, and it's the Super Dooper Chargers all the way this year
