I've had some commitments come up and it is looking possible that I won't be able to attend DEMF this year.

I won't know for certian for a few more days - but I figured I'd put the feeler out for my tickets.

I have 2 of the VIP tickets. Retail is $150 US for each tickets + service charges (I will sell each for $200 CA$ - which is pretty much face value). Tickets are in hand so you won't have to deal with will-call, service fees or shipping costs.

I really wish Busy P wasn't on Monday night. I highly doubt I'm going to want to listen to music like that at that point.

This Krazy Baldhead guy has some pretty cool stuff. I wish they had him and Busy P on the Saturday night.

I want to mainly check out DJs I haven't seen before at the festival this year.

The Red Bull Music stage (Kate Simko, Ryan Elliot) looks good for the Saturday, and the Made in Detroit stage looks interesting for the Sunday (Octave One, Jay Denham, MK, Anthony Rother).

Monday will be a bit all over the place. There are a few acts I want to check out on the Red Bull Music stage (Benga, Afrika Bambaataa, Busy P), but I also want to check out the Detroit Godfathers on the Vitamin Water stage (Carl Craig, Kevin Saunderson and especially Derrick May).

Where is this party rumoured to be Cribby? The Works? Usually Friendly Intergration parties have been at The Works, some times they do warehouse gigs at the Russel Industrial Complex... I'll investigate more and report back!

Myself, Nata, and Phatcat are all raving it up one day (Sunday) and wearing tutus and knee socks and shit...like ravey ballerinas. And I was just talking to Graham, who is game for raving it up as well.

So my question to you all is, do you want to rave it up with us? It would be cool if we had guys and girls uniforms. Girls would be like us: tutus (which we ordered from Amazon) with booty shorts underneath, with knee socks or thigh highs and tank tops/wife beaters

I suggested to Graham to wear old school like tennis shorts with knee socks as well, and obviously some rave type shirt...and (at his suggestion) suspenders! So the guys could do that.


What do you think? I think it would be fucking fun. If you don't like the uniform idea/think it's too much hassle, you could just do your own thing...but come on, matching is way cooler.

Here are two links...the first one has ridiculous shipping charges, but gets shipped faster. I went with the second one...hopefully it gets here in time, lol. First one works out to be 41 some odd dollars with shipping. Second one is 33 something.
