ok sorry i didnt read the rules.....

I still like it!

Tell James holden.

Half the sets posted in this forum are old tracks, its my personal choice if i want it in there or not.

Posted by escee on Feb-11-2004 11:04:

i dont think its cricket to be telling people what they should play, especially based on how old it is. Personally i think beautiful things has been run into the ground. I wouldnt say to anyone YOUVE GOT TO GET RID OF THAT. Mixing is about playing what you like, not other people (especially at the bedroom level) in my opinion.

Posted by gumble on Feb-11-2004 11:06:

werd escee, totally agree.

err, i would make an exception about G&D tracks though

you are sleeping= awesome track, sure its been thrashed, but give it some time, and it will be just as good in a few months.

you said it "give it some time" IE Stop playing it for as bit.

If it wasn't a demo I'd left it alone and kept quite.

that was between slade and i, he seemed to appreciate it, and maybe a few others did too.

I mean

im pretty sure we are all sick and tired of slade playing cheese.

Posted by muli on Feb-11-2004 11:38:

i never said it was a demo... i just put monthly mixes on my site.

And i have actually been told once by a promoter to include a mix of some well known tracks and unkown tracks....

Replace slade with muli and yeah almost the same *(gumble said it should stop being played for a while also)*

What's the difference between a monthly online mix(with you telling people where to get it) and a demo online?

Fair enough on the comment about well known tracks, but something played to death?

I'll try remember not to voice MY opinion on forum in a about tracklistings thread, but everyone else go for it.

lol

ok, i agree with escee that you should be told "thats so 03 or watever over a track in your mix."

actaully, fuck it, lol

put whatever in your mixes, i dont care, ill still call em cheese or good, or old or boring or mismatched hahahaha

djway, not everyone listens to that song a lot. I know people that like to hear it still. I dont mind it either.

You can give your opinion all you want. If i disagree with it then ill say so

Posted by gumble on Feb-11-2004 11:58:

you didnt voice YOUR opinion, you said "you have GOT to take that out"

thats telling me what to do.

Perhaps if you said "i dont like that track anymore, personally i wouldnt have put it in the mix".... then it would have been an opinion.

Anyways so far i have had positive comments about the tracks, only issue is the BASS i dunno what is wrong, i think its just the sucky behringer mixer

Regardless of how I say something, it is only my opnion, never anything more or less. It's a forum, like anything ANYONE says in real life (unless they're holding a gun) is only their opnion.

Glad people like your mix, they tell you that and you accept it, yet I tell you that I don't like a track in there and shit hits the fan. lol.

No, but does that make my opnion any more or less valid? And to why, until I can mix as tight as any decent international, I don't think I'm worthy of anyone's ears(rational of that: djway vs intl, which would you rather d/l?).

Ah, sets and DJ's should give you a decent idea....

Fav DJ's=
James Holden
James Zabiela
Jon o'Bir
Gwill Morris

Sets doing it 4 me in '04=
Fake's proton radio mix.
Kosmos Epilison's sets
JH's set from Glow/Mazzo

I'm a fan of progressive(all forms), and melodic trance.

My tastes match up with a lot of what you post. IE your last set you posted in here, I didn't own 2 of the tracks.

Two different question. Now to hear my sound, refer to my earlier post...

So you're going to be waiting quiet a while to hear my sound. :P I can tell you a tracklisting, and can tell you what I bought (which I've just done), but to hear it...nope.
