I'm not fishing for compliments here...but it's funny how different one's self concept of beauty is from the general population's.

I get more "You're hot" comments when I post pics that I think are mediocre or even horrible, than when I post pics that I think are most flattering.

I'm not complaining...just observing!

ok hair color queens, i'm having a moment lately. i've been really letting my natural color grow back...it's kinda dark blonde, and i almost think there's some strawberry color at my roots

anyway, i was at the beach last weekend and saw a bunch of hot blondes and now i'm thinking of going light blonde again...

yeah I agree, although I'm biased since I really don't like light/bright blonde.

i like your natural color, Jamie. it makes you look more laid-back, if that makes any sense.

bright blonde just tends to look so "fake" sometimes. not sayin' you look fake 'cause you're probably one of the least fake chicks i've ever met.

Well I would say go bright blonde again cuz it is my preference.

I sometimes get the feeling too like maybe I should just go all natural again since the bottom half is already BROWN!! But no. I'll miss the blonde [6 1/2 years with it :x].

Or you can just get partial highlights only. It'll make your hair look lighter without dying the WHOLE thing!

I find that in most cases, natural is always the most flattering. My best friend has these AMAZING blue eyes, and she bleaches her hair blonde. Not that it looks bad...but it's just so typical. Her natural hair colour is a nice medium brown, that would look SO exotic with her features and everything. Not to mention she has olive skin.

Sometimes I wish I had never started coloring my hair. Part of the reason it stayed blonde is because it was always naturally exposed to sunlight, so it would get it's own highlights. But now that I've been coloring it, it grows in so mousey. Boo.

I just think it's wanting what you can't have???

Hair is a big thing for girls [atleast me] it's not like you can be blonde for a month, get over it and go back to brown. Anyone that has tried knows when u dye over it it's never gonna look or be the same until it GROWS OUT!

I've stopped dying my hair completely blonde and just stuck with partial highlights. I'm happy with that cuz at times I wanna go natural.. but then other times in my head i wanna dye the whole damn thing blonde again.

I found my happy medium and it's not changing for a while cuz my hair is getting LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG

Yeah for sure! The thing is, when I started coloring my hair, I was totally happy with what I had naturally. I was just bored and wanted to change without having to cut it. I started with a semi-permanent, and it was all down hill from there, lol. Once you have the bug, it never really goes away! Being a girl is fun! Hehe.

Acutally I used to do this a lot. But my mother used to be a hair dresser, so she taught me that you have to put a "filler" on the hair before you attempt to go dark. I have really fine, porous hair too...so it made it really easy to be a chameleon, heh. I think in ONE month my hair went from bleached blonde, to purple, to black, then eventually to a natural looking golden blonde.
