Ha! Yeah this thread is dead but everyone seems to be busy or they are staying in their box's
Did you watch the last game against Sampdoria? FSC didn't broadcast it.

Becks signing a 6 month loan deal apparently.

Posted by Renzo on Oct-22-2008 16:52:

I foresee some nice assists to Ronny and Kaka.

I foresee some increased AC Milan t-shirt sales.

definitely.

tbf the italian game should suit beckham who has now lost his pace, his ability on the ball should enable him to do well. They reckon the merchandise alone will be worth 10 million

They'll merchandise him until hes promoting zimmerframes

david bentley was a good replacement for beckham

but he's to big for blackburn

much more suited for a bottom of the table club

twat

I think thats what this move is all about - milan have struggled bacdly for season tikcet sales so this should boost tickets sale and the general profile of the italian game, which is in dire need of it..

as has been mentioned the only person who can lose is beckham himself..

Posted by bluE_Neon on Oct-26-2008 17:27:

Milano won with Atalanta today. Kaka scored a nice goal from a nice piece of action. There was no Becks on the bench though.

We are starting to come together although we are far from our best. Still few problems at the back but our attacking lineup is massive and atm they are doing just enough to keep us going, hopefully in the january transfer window we will get atleast 2 center backs and maybe another wing back.

As for the Beckham scenario, i'm not really one for it because there's really no place for him on the field we have enough mid's and are all doing fine including pirlo who i hope will be back soon. But as many say, he would be good for merchandising and promoting a better image for italian football which has slumped largely over the past 2-3 years.

And I really hope we DO NOT turn into a team like Real Madrid's Galcticos squad.

Posted by Vlad on Oct-28-2008 13:30:

Becks isnt going to be with the team until January when the loan transfer goes through... I wouldnt be surprised if he was at the game watching though.

Posted by bluE_Neon on Oct-28-2008 18:52:

We got Pirlo & Seedorf and that's all you need for midfield. Put in youngster Fabregas in between for training from the veterans and Milano is dream attack-midfield. Haha, yeah right that won't happen
I think Becks will fit ideally into the midfield squad when theres already 2 veterans playing. The right midfielder position would suit him & I'd love to watch him make those amazing passes in a Milano jersey. There's noone in the world that passes or makes his signature free kick like Becks. Period.

Posted by Vlad on Oct-28-2008 20:16:

Kaka, Pirlo, Ronaldinho and Beckham... together... thats just unfair, lol.

Posted by denys envy on Oct-28-2008 21:41:

i have no clue why Becks is going to an Italian team? is it just because he's never played in the league?

i should think somewhere in the Premiership would be the wiser choice.

Seems to me that The Don of Milano is quite the fanatic and is making his dream squad So far he hasn't made a bad decision. FORZA AC MILANO!!!

Its probably why, and AC Milan has 3 of the best midfielders in the world.

Thats all milan are doing this for, I think it's a great move for milan, they can't lose - give him 10-20 mins per game that we are in winning positions and everyones happy. Tv money around the world will be flowing in to see him.. especially from the UK where they dropped coverage this year.. Fuckin channal 5 ****s. Look who used to present the program as well, the mighty laura esposto:

pic removed: gotta keep pics safe for work

i'd do time for her.

He just wants to get out of the US. Anything at this point is good for him. Let's remember that he didn't want to leave Real in the first place. What did he say? That he had like 2 or 3 good years in him to play at Real? I forgot.

I read that he was in conflict with Fabio Cappello and playing time. At the time he was sitting more on the bench than anything else.

When he left real, he had picked up some pace and was playing better than guti.

I doubt he is in that kind of playing shape now. I mean honestly, he has been playing for the mls

lol

Man how i love beckers, but after his move to mls, he became lame.
