Yeah, those stupid Astros! I Don't want to see them in the postseason!

Here's a funny statistic: Not including the last night's game, since June 1st, San Diego Padres went 39-54 and during that span added 3 games to their division lead

NOW'S THAT'S A ONE TOUGH DIVISION!!!

well the astros would be better to knock off the padres, rather than the phillies right now .. i don't think the phillies could beat the padres .. and we don't want a less than .500 team in the nlcs do we ?? .. and what if the padres beat the cardinals / braves, because jake peavy carries the team ??

Hehe, I'd say you are drunk right now, so I'll take your words seriously when you'll be sober

Hehe, who knows!

The Padres are playing the Nationals right now, not the Phillies.

i was talking about playoff scenarios at the moment ..
..

actually it's my bad .. if the playoffs started right now, then

atlanta vs san diego
st louis vs houston / philly

atlanta is going down ... jake peavy is going to strike out everyone ..

Jake Peavy is like jean claude van damme in Timecop... badass!

What happened in FLorida today??? Holly cow. Phillies score 10 runs in the top of 9th inning!, to win 10-2.

I can't believe it.

Posted by Mebot on Sep-18-2005 00:47:

i didn't see the game, but damn...is that what happened?

Talk about choking.....

wow .. yeah i wouldn't have expected that kind of stuff from todd jones .. surprised the marlins didn't try to put urbina in after jones couldn't stop 3 guys ..

Posted by SlackerBoy9 on Sep-18-2005 11:27:

They couldn't..urbina is on the Phillies

Posted by Acid Circus on Sep-18-2005 12:36:

Looper the Pooper will never be wanted here thats for sure, you guys are stuck with his crap for this year, remember I warned you guys about this guy aat the begining of the season
oh and Ill say it again Looper was the only guy I hated from the 2003 Marlins team

2night Marlins kicked the Philies ass,the other night Id rather not talk about, we usually own the Philies so that was suprising

Posted by LeopoldStotch on Sep-20-2005 04:39:

i dont know about you guys ...

but ..

cleveland is the guy in the back, and the white sox is the guy/gal in the front .. ..

nah .. this has got to be worse ..

people were actually writing the white sox in for the the world series back in june when they had the best record in baseball ..

Posted by Mebot on Sep-20-2005 05:32:

yeah well those people are crazy. To try and predict playoff contenders in june is just ludicrous. Anything can (and will) happen.

Next year during Spring Training i'm going to pencil in the Kansas City Royals to win the World Series

Don't forget - of the regular TAs on this thread, who predicted Indians to win the division title at the beginning of the season? Hmmm, I dont think I ws the only one, verndogs also picked 'em.

Thats why I was so surprised earlier in the season that White Sox were so ahead. Who knows, its not over yet. I think getting swept by Tampa Bay at home in August will definitely cost them (the Indians)/

Youre living in a dream world, but it could happen. They have just as much of a chance to win as the Royals, Rockies, D-Rays, M's or Pirates.

And what the hell is with the White Sox. For the first time in years, my fav team does good all season just to piss it away at the end.

I can't find it, but this was my predictions (I think... I might be wrong about my NL WC winner):

Red Sox
Yankees
Indians
Angels

Braves
Phillies
Cubs
Giants (with Bonds)
Padres (with no Bonds)
