what about nathan brown or jason snell ankle snaps? or john barnes upper arm snaps? they are the worst to see a limb dangling i can do without.

Posted by skot_e on May-27-2006 04:30:

Yeah nasty injuries, but I can look at those. i saw footage of a horse the other day in a race (american) and it's leg broke buring the race. you could see it floppin around while it was trying to come to a stop. Poor thing. I could watch it tho.
When I was a kid I saw a rugby tackle where wehn the guy went down he put his arm out to break the fall, and his elbow dislocated and bent the wrong way to 90degrees. Looked bad, but I kept watching.

yeah im similar, those things i can watch but knee's are just bad, just the littlest thing and you are fucked for a year :|

Not looking good for the Blues, 6 min off the clock and 5.2 to the crows. Carlton yet to go forward.
The comentators were saying Blues have only won one game away under Pagan. Time for a new coach?

Posted by aL_mAc on May-27-2006 07:12:

bahh... broken limbs!! talk to me when your guts are lying outside ya body!

the perfect scapegoat.... not as if any of this doesnt relate back to shit management or crap playing list...

w00t hopefully this could be another good round for me! don't think i have enough to win this week though...

well with a list like st.kilda's they should have already had a flag or contested for one at least.

they may be coming good but i think that this year is make or break for a few players.

milne (delist?)
harvey (retire?)
peckette (retire?)
thompson (retire?)
kosi (will he ever string together 3 games?)
hamill (will he ever string together more then four games on the trot?)

not trying to single out st.kilda because geelong are in the same boat. they have less stars but they have all played together for a while now.

thoughts?

Posted by drew k on May-28-2006 02:57:

well it looks unlikely for st kilda this year, given that the pies, crows and eagles are all a step above, you can prolly throw sydney into the mix as well now.

I dont rate Thomas at all, just look at what he is doing to L Ball... and i hear he's not the only one who is playing who clearly shouldnt be...

i know a certain player last year who was expected to get up and play but on occasions throughout they year had trouble even walking as late as thursday, and was still expected to play.

what about me vs onion! that was a blockbuster, both of us scored more points than you both, so we know where the benchmarks are! onion would have to be the unluckiest in this league.. scoring the biggest totals and sitting 4th! scrubs or the junkies will be no match!

hahahaha yeh that was a good matchup... I wouldn't say unlucky, I've rushed a crapload of trades ( out of cee bee effed factor )... havent planned any of them in this league... I lost that game c0z your team got more stats that week... simple well done but youre right our teams are the benchmarkz : )))

In other news the team I actually do plan my trades for jumped 100 spots to the top 600... w00 x 2

werd mangz
the pies are da fucking barra ^_____^

Posted by Trance Nutter on May-29-2006 01:25:

I'm glad I persisted with McLeod, he's coming good.

Traded
Bode for Higgins (Bulldogs)
Just trying to find a decent priced back now

Then next week one trade to upgrade my forwards and I should be set (will only have 2 trades left so i better be!)

Posted by jizza on May-29-2006 01:58:

aker you bewdy, you cant keep him down for long! apart from that not too good on the injury front, judd out for 2 and murphy gone for the year. symes is gonna be a more than handy replacement though.

Posted by skot_e on May-29-2006 04:52:

Judds out! oh fuk me! Don't need that.
i lost by 12 points this week. damn you Cornes and Hart! Both out at the same time left my backline exposed.

Posted by Trance Nutter on May-29-2006 04:58:

hehe, I outscored everyone in my league apart from Onion, but the score was wasted on a team lower ranked than mine

Out McGregor in Bradshaw

Next week Hart will be replaced. It should work out better than hanging onto him and upgrading someone else.

Posted by drew k on May-29-2006 05:59:

Huge match for me this week playing top of the table!

Can you smell what Hello Shazzy is cookin!

Breaking News;

Lenny Hayes out for the year with a knee injury!

Posted by 00soups00 on May-29-2006 06:14:

words cannot quite describe how i feel atm..

i doubt we'll ever win a flag with our unluckiness of injuries

fixed.

he would have to be a shocker of a coach to have consistently underachieved with the list he has had for he past 3 years.

Posted by Philby on May-29-2006 10:29:

damn i was pretty close this week to my second win! i should put brown as captain hehe. my team is going well last few weeks although my rucks and bench are teh sux0r.

Posted by jizza on May-29-2006 22:14:

okay question for those who have judd (and even those who dont)... should i trade him?

Posted by skot_e on May-30-2006 01:35:

Well I'm keeping him, it's only 2 weeks from what I read. Let him keep the pine warm...

Posted by jizza on May-31-2006 22:41:

okily dokily looks like judds out for 4. out he goes, in comes hodge. out goes murphy, in comes moody. with 2 picks left and $207K in the bank... im hopin this team will carry me home.

Posted by jono4L on Jun-01-2006 00:17:

I am keeping him, i have the reserves to cover him its my backs and forwards that lack emergancies.
