Posted by chimera66 on Oct-24-2007 00:54:

damn I need to go to this! gonna see if some NYTAs will hit this up with me...

Posted by BlendedProd. on Oct-24-2007 01:13:

it will most probably go like this:

Creator
Franco Fabi
Stephan Grondin
DJ VIBE
Steve Lawler
Marcus Schulz
SVD
Wizz

Posted by Spin Laden on Oct-24-2007 01:19:

I can see that.. put the headliners on during the 'peak' hours. Not impressed with that concept though.

Balenblanc, you know what to do

chimera66 --> 10/26 - Paul van Dyk @ Roseland Ballroom

I envy you !!

what about the time slots..I hope they divide the time slots equally ( House/Trance) even though there is more House Djs

I'd like to see:

DJ Wizz 9-10
Markus Schulz 10-1
Sander Van Doorn 1-3
Stephane Grondin 3-4
DJ Vibe 4-6
Steve Lawler 6-9
Creator 9-10
Franco Fabi 10-11

I love the locals here but with this many djs...

The intls can earn their money and spin an extra hour, Lawler esp (chained to the mixer this time, smirk). This also gives Lawler some time for another gig/travel beforehand.

For the love of everything that exists... Do not Open with Markus Schulz or Sander.. The earliest I wanna see them is 3am..

I am also saying this cause I prolly won't even go in there until around 2 3 am, cause I wanna celebrate new year with my friends and a glass of champagne in a circle of close friends and women, not at some countdown @ a rave..

EDIT: some people will find this wierd, thats just a tradition thing..

I don't find that weird at all, that's actually how it should be done...do the whole count-down thing with close friends and/or family, have some drinks, and then head out to party it up till the wee hours.

Also, the night will start with House and end with Trance. Mark my words.

Posted by Spin Laden on Oct-24-2007 11:56:

yeah, end it with trance...

aside from flicking the lights on and off, it's probably the most efficient way to get many of the 8000 ppl to leave Centre Bell - see Sensation

Posted by X-Cube on Oct-24-2007 12:50:

Congrats Creator!!!

WOuld you really put Schulz and SVD all before 2am..They're probably the 2 dj they paid the most.. and they would put them.. At the beggining? Before peak??.. no.

DJ Wizz 9-10
Markus Schulz 10-1
Sander Van Doorn 1-3

you betcha, for the reasons I've already outlined. NYE is a little different than other massives in that 12AM has a pretty relevant meaning. Even the once mighty Oakenfold had an early NYE slot in a much more inferior lineup than this.

All that aside, I trust Blended's insight here but if that trance closing lineup happens again, oh well. It's a decent lineup right now but many of us will be leaving a bit early again unless MS and SVD lay it heavy on the techno (if you like techno).

Spin Laden

PS, Lawler doesn't come cheap either.

I SECOND THIS! you read my mind!

Posted by Spin Laden on Oct-24-2007 14:10:

and so do most MTLTAs, I can post the results of a very democratic poll too again

Posted by zeKsg on Oct-24-2007 14:23:

Its gonna be house > trance. Gauranteed

Posted by Alex on Oct-24-2007 14:49:

DJ Wizz vs Creator tag team.

This is what i would put $ on.... :-(

Posted by ZraW on Oct-24-2007 15:51:

I know Lawler doesn't come cheap either, but most likely not as much as the 2 trance djs i named. Especially with SVD growing popularity.

Last year countdown was done by Second Sun.. I dont see Schulz or SVD doing it this year lol
