That was fucking bad.

Also Lucic can suck my limp dick, that mother ****** deserves a game suspension. High sticking my fucking ass, he cross checked him in the face.

Totally uncalled for considering they were winning 5 to 1.

10 bucks says we get sweeped.

The odds in Vegas say you've got a guaranteed $10.

They have to play every period the same way they played that first period tonight

Posted by elFreak on Apr-21-2009 01:51:

you don't like trance maher, stop believing in unicorns. I hope to fuck gainey and trevor timmins go and we can rebuild this team with real canadian talent.

it is over.

i hope they trade price while they still can, because we have another jim carrey/andrew raycroft on our hands.

this just in:

Carey price throwing a huge centenial party at Opera on Sunday. Playoffs finally over, Price and his hommies can finally enjoy the crazy montreal nightlife scene and relax a bit after a long stressful season.....

the habs have been incapable of playing well for 60min. the whole season. i doubt this will change in the next game(s).

I'm beginning to wonder if any goalie can handle the pressure of being a goalie for Montreal.

We eat them up like we do members of the PQ.

Posted by Dj Smitty20 on Apr-21-2009 18:18:

Well, I'm not surprised. We're crap and probably didn't even deserve to get into the playoffs. They backed their asses in anyway and were lucky Florida lost out on the tie breaker.

I love Bob Gainey, I really do. But he seems to have built this team on speed and skill, which clearly is not getting it done. I think that with a new owner, Gainey might quit or be fired. He's been pretty good at firing head coaches (why did he fire Elmer Fudd Julien again!?!?), so maybe he should just fire himself and we can start from scratch again. They are not going to win anything with the Kostitsyns or a guy like Josh Gorges as a top 4 D man and guys like Tom Kostopolous.

I hate to sound like Don Cherry, but there are too many inconsistent Europeans on this team. Way too many Russians who just don't show up when the team needs them. I do give Kovalev his due though...he wasn't so great last night but at least it looks like he was trying. Where the hell as Koivu been? BRUTAL!

I like Carey Price, but I'm starting to think he might not be ready for the pressure cooker in Montreal. Making him the number one last year and trading Huet (for nothing!) was also a bad move. I've heard rumours that Gainey couldn't really do anything to improve the team at the trade deadline because of Gillet's financial fuck ups and misery and he didn't want to take on any more contracts.

I think Gillet should sell the team. I dont' want an American owning Canada's hockey team anyway. He's more interested in Nascar and Liverpool (which he co-owns with Hicks, which I feel is clearly a conflict of interest in the NHL since Hicks owns the Stars). I certainly don't want that separatist bitch Celine Dion owning the Habs either. Sell it to a sports man who's gonna spend the money every year! My vote would be for Serge Savard (if he has the money) or the Montreal Impact owner or even Ballsillie if he's interested.

ugh, that's no damn good. He was not the only, or even a major, reason that they got blown out in four straight.

montreal fans can be the best or worst... in the same game.

hes young and can be forgiven, roy was simply stupid

Price needs a few smacks on the side of the head.....and needs a defense

too young to ever have been made #1 I think. It was a huge gamble last year. Clearly, it hasn't helped his confidence or his ability to play consistent. That said, he still has potential and it's too early to ditch him.

2 things are over today... 1st, the habs season which will be better next year, 2nd, university, cause I graduated today =D
