Dogfish is pretty good, its a little hard to find in the states. Here on the east coast liquor stores have it but by the time u get to the midwest (near Chicago) it vanishes.

Guinness FTW!

I live in New York and pretty much all grocery stores have at least the DFH 60 minute. Most of the specialty beer stores have a lot of their other varieties as well, although the 120min has been gone for awhile now (since they only make a limited amount of it each year).

Yeah, I like Ranger, but not because it's great or anything.

Where do you buy your beer? I scour local places, but only seem to find Stone/Great Divide/Left Hand, at best.

I'm going to live near Castlerock soon enough, which means I can go visit Rockyard. Maybe I can even let them know to stop using such incredibly cheap labels.

got back out to LA yesterday...
so fuckin' nice to hit up some of my favorite bars from the past and see beers on tap that i haven't come across in a while - stuff from russian river, for instance.

anyway, picked up a 6 of sierra to drink tonight. alone. wheeee

don't even have internet set up in my place yet. i'm in the internet lounge of my apartment complex lol

Well when we lived near Glendale thats pretty much all I could find either.

Between Superior LQ near Louisville, Liquor Mart in Boulder and Supermarket/Wilburs in FC you can find lots of variety. I have not seen that Green Flash Imp IPA in stock anywhere in 2 mos at least.

You can still find their Le Freak, and standard 4 pack bottles many places and their Dbl Red, Ipa and stout are all nice also.

I would check out Argonaut if in dire need in Denver. My biggest prob is that beer got more expensive 2 years ago, but almost anywhere in Denver a sixer costs 2 dollars more than any other town in CO for no reason other than there are lots of beer snobs and Denver is expensive for no good reason.

In Castle Rock Bubbles is a decent place, but I have only shopped there once or twice and only for Hamm's, which is better than PBR and cheaper, but clearly lacks the hipster-cache.

I actually far prefer their regular ipa to the torpedo. It's too bitter without many other flavors to balance it out.

First time I'm having this. Definitely agree. The extra seems to have a distracting malty sweetness as well that quickly overshadows the hops.

Ah well, it's decent.

Is that your purse?

120 is only brewed in a set quantity each year. It's been sold out for months now. Should be another batch coming in the next few months.

If you can find it try Green Flash West Coast IPA.

Fav IPAs so far:
Sixpoint Bengali Tiger
Victory Hopdevil
and one I just tried over the weekend and really liked:
Yard's Philadelphia Ale

Need to retaste some of the Dogfish Head to compare now that I'm all into beer n shit. Want to retaste Bell's Two Hearted Ale as well.

Want to try:
Bell's Hopslam
Green Flash IPA

FINALLY got a chance to have a bottle of La Fin du Monde a couple weeks ago. My god, it's heaven.
Also had a bottle of St. Bernardus Abt 12. Not a fan. WAY too sweet n fruity for me.
