Jesse's definitely going to get away. I hope they don't kill him off.

+1

And I didn't like it - thought it was very lazy.

I liked it. One of the biggest cliffhangers of the series. With only two episodes left they kind of have to end it with a bang.

Yea, but I didn't think it was a big enough of a bang (no pun intended) considering they have two episodes left. Sure, there's a cliffhanger, but the last 10 minutes of that episode and the shootout scene itself was rather meh. It was like catching a glimpse of a nice ass only for her to turn around and you find out that she's busted up. Kind of let down by the initial signs of how this show is going to end.

Posted by Viber on Sep-09-2013 17:47:

And whats with the long ass shootout anyway? i'm a bad marksman and i woulda killed Hank and Gomey 3 times during that minute.

And why didn't they put Marie in the middle of that shootout? why not make the viewers happy?

Three episodes.

You're saying I can't comment on the show because I didn't watch it when it first started. Why the fuck does that matter when I started watching it? Your argument is that since I didn't care to watch it when it first started, I'm somehow disqualified to comment on it. Your reasoning is that of a child.

Actually, what he said is that you were in the habit of taking a shit on the show before you even watched the first episode. He wasn't saying the monstrous stupidity you claim he was saying. He said it quite clearly, actually.

Straw men, and shit.

I thought the way the last 10 mins were presented were excellent. They did it with tension and allowed you to stew in your own theories. The thing is, it would seem obvious that Hank & Gomi would die, which means we should expect that they won't given how this show works.

Posted by WittyHandle on Sep-09-2013 19:31:

I wonder if the thugs would've shot if Hank had given them ID, or if that was just a ploy to get him to drop his gun. I'm guessing it is, but I still wonder.

my views about this episode were uttered in one loudly exclaimed word at the end of the episode: fuck!

and yes it was completely obvious that they would come anyway to protect their investment in walt. they need him.

We already know that Walt is free a few months later, how is that possible if Hank took him to custody?

All of the evidence hank has was obtained illegally.

Oh shit, woscar's back!

On-topic: the bit where Walt is confessing on the phone with Jesse was a bit too easy. I mean the guy's got every little detail planned out and he doesn't stop to think about that situation for a couple of seconds? Is it really his greed that completely blocks his reasoning?

Also, like Viber said, the shootout was poor. They were firing for like 5 seconds until Hank and Gomie got cover. But I guess that's all the same in every movie or series.

I still don't know how this show is going to end though.

How? he got Walt talking on the phone with his former partner in crime, if Jesse recorded an incriminating conversation between him and Walt and handed it to Hank then why can't Hank use it?

Right, with an illegal wire tap on his phone. How else do you think they got the coordinates of the phone? They were tracking it, it wasn't just a matter of a recorded confession. They had an illegal tap on his cell. He had no warrant because he's been going down this whole course on his own, unbeknownst to the DEA. That, plus the information he got from Huel, plus essentially holding Jesse without cause, plus putting a wire on Jesse without a warrant, etc. etc. Everything he has done in the course of this "investigation" is illegal.

None of that evidence would hold up in court.

I think he believed Hank's fake photo of the money, and believed that Jessie was torching it, so that emotion overrode his logic in the moment.

That picture is pretty skewed. Jesse's mistakes are all the result of being a stupid kid/drug addict. Walt makes cold calculated decisions, which is much more evil imo.

What a horribly stupid fucking reason to consider one "evil".
