I'm pretty sure last year sven was ultra exclusive which is why he didn't spin... Heard rumors this year of artists not being exclusive which would explain the rumors of him spinning at cocoon

What's the deal with Mansion these days? Last time I went was probably in 2010, do they still do that retarded VIP/bottle service area in the middle of the dance floor or is it less models & bottles during the conference?

It's far worse now. Sure, there is no VIP table in the middle of the dance floor, but the new layout makes you wish there was. The VIP area takes up most of the club now. The decks are in the general area of where the arches in the back were and now where the dancefloor was is tables and the stage is tables, as well as the balcony area. I wish it was back to the way it was.

do pool parties legally have to end by 11PM in SoBe? anyone know? trying to figure out if a 2AM closing is a typo.

I could see it being a typo cause of the noise complaints they would receive...also could be that they will move the party indoors after say 10 or 11 pm...so in essence you have your pool party and a continuing party indoors...just don't know if they have space for that

Honestly the only time I use the public transport system is during WMC. That's just from Dadeland Station to Bayfront and back for Ultra. Rest of the time, I drive myself.

regarding the public transit thread.. if someone wants to copy/paste it and maybe update it (might need a little bit here and there since i didnt do one last year) and then post it up in the forum i have no problem with that. the information is beneficial so it would be stupid to let it go to waste. wish i could update it myself but ive got too much on my plate. it shouldnt need much updating though. most of that info stays the same and if anyone has any questions you can always pm me.

if not, someone could pm swamper and ask him to move it.

lol. in all honesty, i loved all that detail you put in there. the miami dade website gives you some info but it doesn't relate it to where the events actually are. it was very helpful. i used the bus almost everyday. a lot of us don't have cars when we go there. it still blows my mind that 25 cent bus that takes you around everywhere.

yes pool parties have to close at 10 or so.

the difference here is that Hyde which is the 'club' at the SLS goes to 2am. Hyde is a relatively small room where all of the walls open up to the outside for an indoor/outdoor experience so I suspect they will use that to allow the party to go to 2am. If you go on a regular night there that's how it works.


And for the person who mentioned going to Luciano that night... I suspect he won't come on until say 2am anyway.
