ok i think i figured it out... here's my setup:

numark tt500's and flight cases
pioneer cdj1000mk3's and flight cases
shure m44 cartridges (7 and g styli for both tt's)
sony mdr v700 headphones
pioneer djm800 and flight case
gateway computer
serato scratch live

this is the first time i've had all of my gear set up together.. i use the tt's on wed nights (hip hop) and the cdj's on fris and sats (all genres), so my gear is always all over the place. i just got the cdj's, djm, and flight cases within the last 2 weeks.. i cant believe this is my setup!! i would never have all of this if i did free gigs

how much for the flight cases and laptop?

the laptop was a gateway promo (gateway mx6445 amd triton... 1 gig ram, 1.79ghz cpu 120gb hard drive. i got it for 700 but a week later i saw it at the same store for 900. i actually have another dell pc computer w/ all my hip hop and shit on it (8000 songs).

i forget how much the tt flight cases were (prob 200 shipped). the cdj cases and djm case were purchased from procases on ebay (235 shipped).

omg i'm using a fender bass amp w/ horn (it has rca imputs). not pretty or the best, but it does the job...

still nice though. would love to bang a set out of that system.

ive 2 kam ddx680 turntables
1 cdj800 mk2
pioneer djm600
jp8000
2 high fi speakers
2 revolver speakers

need studio speakers and another cdj800. but no money.

I'm back, and here's a little update of my setup.

New addition are
2x Alesis 820 DSP Prolinear
2x Pioneer CDJ 1000 MK3




I'm pretty well finished my setup, the only thing I see myself purchasing from hereon is maybe a new headphones, and ATA flight cases for all my gear.

damn what a bummer for me! i left my job and my laptop that powered my SSL. just added a pair of ROCKING! Alesis M1 Actice MK2 monitors and a Echo Audiofire2 sound interface. will post pics asap

Yea, the salesmen at the shop that I got mine from had to open the box to make sure it was only a single, cuz the box was so big he thought it might contain a pair..

So, after saving up money for some time, i've finally bought my very own Dj equipment.

After it arrived, I ofcourse had to immediately check the stuff out and connect it all. Later that day I was going to get the table I chose to get. Here's the stuff all on my bed.



What you see is:
2x Pioneer CDJ200
1x Numark DXM06 Mixer
2x Behringen B-2030A monitor speakers
1x Stanton Dj Pro 2000 Headphones

So, after testing, it all worked perfectly! yay!
I was going to get the table.......



But but..... Ikea didn't have the table in stock
So now i'm gonna have to wait 4 weeks till they have it again

This is the table I wanted btw...



Now all the gear is set out on an old campingtable, and it really doesn't do just for the gear in my opinion, but there's nothing to do about that...

Seriously considering building my own table though....


And I want to thank everyone in this thread, because it helped me a great deal in selecting both equipment and table options.

I'll post and updated pic of my final setup. WITH table!
