2x cdj 1000 mk3 = check
Now I only need a Pioneer DJM 800

If you're gonna print your cd's don't forget to buy a colour fix spray. They give your cd's that ubersexy glossy look which my photo camera doesn't capture that well.

Talking

Hey Transfusion, love the CDs! Definitely beats writing on the cds with a marker Just had a few questions though:

-what exactly is colour fix spray?
-what does it do?
-and where do you get it?

also

-can it damage the cds and/or cd decks in any way?

also, also

-where did you get the record label logos from? did you scan them or did you get them online somewhere?

Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Just got a new camera, know nothing about using the camera, or taking photos in general. But liked how these ones turned out.

The camera was a canon ixus 65, or powershot sd630 which i think its called overseas.

-what does it do? It protects your printed cd's against moisture, water, scratch and yellow. If you have sweaty hands, you could fuck your whole design up.

Need more info? Just ask

So, after saving up money for some time, i've finally bought my very own Dj equipment.

After it arrived, I ofcourse had to immediately check the stuff out and connect it all. Later that day I was going to get the table I chose to get. Here's the stuff all on my bed.

What you see is:
2x Pioneer CDJ200
1x Numark DXM06 Mixer
2x Behringen B-2030A monitor speakers
1x Stanton Dj Pro 2000 Headphones

So, after testing, it all worked perfectly! yay!
I was going to get the table.......

But but..... Ikea didn't have the table in stock
So now i'm gonna have to wait 4 weeks till they have it again

This is the table I wanted btw...

Now all the gear is set out on an old campingtable, and it really doesn't do just for the gear in my opinion, but there's nothing to do about that...

In the light

In the dark

Seriously considering building my own table though....

And I want to thank everyone in this thread, because it helped me a great deal in selecting both equipment and table options.

I'll post and updated pic of my final setup. WITH table!

Nice! How are you liking the truths? I think they are great! Been using them for 2 months now!

1 x DJM 800
2 x Cdj 200
1 x HDJ 1000

M-Audio studio Monitors (Crappy as hell)
2 x Vintage Sony Speakers (200W Each)

Some KRK RP6s were going to be my next purchase but after comming across the Sony Speaker i really have no need to spend another $300+. The sony's are amazingly loud and clear.

Can't be any happier. Now all i need is to build or buy a couple of speaker stands so they can be closer to head level.

One thing i don't see too many people do (I'm not sure why) , I connected my cdjs to one channel using the digital conections and to another using the RCA, with this I have sound comming out of two channels from one source at the same time, TONS OF FUN!! especially with the effects

This was just introduced with the newest CDJs. The older 800s and 100s do not have that feature. ALSO, the old DJMs do not have the digital inputs.

@ ChoBo:

I like the Truths, they're clear enough for me. Unfortunately, I still live at home, and I have neighbors, so I'm unable to turn up the volume loud enough without cops showing up
Anyway. Nice speakers, love em.

@ Fusic

Here's the link of the table on the dutch ikea site. Hope it helps, since you're from the US I see...

Oh, I love the mixer so far, it has a very intuitive layout. The only thing that I wish it had was a vu meter for each channel instead of a pfl meter. The mids on the eq is where most of the sound is at which kind of bugs me. Hehehe, well I only have that one crap numark tt, its not even mine. lol so I use my mp3 player to beat match. But as soon as I get the money for two st-120c's the numark is gone! I cant decide on wether to get a 120 or a 150 though. Ill probably end up with the 120's even though I like the look of the 150's better.
