This isnt a dj set up, but I know many of you like a good sound system too, so thought i might as well post this. This is our system, well my fathers...he's an audiophile. Don't have the specs, but its very advanced. Its actually been featured in a few magazines. Those speakers stand at 171cm, or 5ft9. The wooden things behind them are custom made diffusers.

The sound coming out of them is out of this world. You really can't hear that the music is coming out of speakers, but it just sounds like its there around you.

That's what those speakers look like. But I wouldny mind playing some pounding electro on them that's for sure.

Finally got all of our equipment together...

nice and clean little setup you got there...looks really nice and the new macbooks are amazing (love mine) is it your first mac? the way you have everything setup looks very pristine and orderly which is a plus...and btw those speakers...saw them in an earlier post right?? amazing!

First and foremost.. I absolutely LOVE my Ecler Nuo4... however, to this day I always wonder if I should have gone with the Pioneer DJM400 with my CDJ200's... that looks so clean and perfect together.. Only thing I really miss with my Ecler is effects... Guess I will have to get an effector sometime soon..

Yeah, it's my first mac (got it back in August), and yeah, those speakers I showed a couple of weeks ago.

We're using those for house parties... so tons of people will be going deaf. Our first big party is one that we're throwing this coming weekend. We've got around 250 people coming.

I don't use vinyl that much anymore but all the CDJs get used quite a lot (and I'm sure they'd all continue to if I added a CDJ1000 to the setup), occasionally it's useful to have a 4th source at the same time... not necessarily for layering 4 tracks together, but if you've got a loop running on one deck over the top of 2 others you can instantly swap it in for another loop on a 4th source (or bring another one in soon after), so you only actually have 2 or 3 things playing at once but need 3 or 4 sources for it.

It is bent but no more than it's supposed to be must just be the angle of the pic.
