Hey,
I realise this is slightly off topic for this thread, but as it gets mention a lot - here's the sasha pic that you can download from
www.deanbelcherphotography.com - I hope he doesn't mind me posting it in here - check out his site and stuff, he's a friendly guy. (I mention the inspiration this pic had on me in my book - and got in touch - he seemed very pleased...)
This is the highest res from his site, but with some careful filter action, you can blow it up to poster size in photoshop.
Sorry to be the sad twat, but no one would happen to know which Xtravaganza tune it was he was playing at the time? hehe

Wow - Blue Fear's about 140Bpm, right? The pitch looks around 7-8% - which means he's playing around 150Bpm!
No wonder everyone looks a bit knackered... :-)

Oh, and if you're wondering about the fan in the window... my PC acts as a furnace, thus my room is about 8-10F warmer than the rest of my house...
400 ftw!

Has anyone else noticed?????
I think it's really good that people are so enthusiastic about music, production, Dj'ing but what I have noticed that is quite disturbing about this thread is the amount of people (about 95% of all the photos) who show they clearly don't have a clue about studio set up, acoustics, speaker placement, audio engineering or even basic ergonomics in a "working" or studio environment.
Don't get me wrong there are a lot of constraints (space, layout, materials, budget - the list goes on) but christ, I just don't understand how so many people on this site can spend serious amounts of cash (£2K and upwards in many pics) on serious, pro kit and get it so wrong. Please invest £10 in a book to learn how to set it all up - why do you think us "Dj's" have such a bad name in professional circles.....
