I am! Just that I can only get through 6 or 7 before I have to drop to my knees and finish out the sets girly style. I give it a couple weeks.

i've actually started liking push-ups again except i do a variation. push-up/dumbbell rows ftw i always feel damn near worn out when i finish these
Figured I'd post this in here...
So my dumb bf didn't go grocery shopping last night, leaving me with "nothing" to eat all fucking day today (no eggs, no veggies or salad stuff, no meat). I had to scour the pantry for something that wasn't shit and would actually fill me up for a few hours and I made what turned out to be a pretty awesome concoction. Lol "coc".
Anyway, I mixed together some drained and rinsed canned bean medley (chick peas, kidney beans, and one other kind of bean) with a can of sockeye salmon...with mayo, a bit of dijon mustard, a splash of soy sauce, chopped red onion, and a bit of oregano and parsley. Then I wrapped it with lettuce.
I realized as I was eating that it was total meat-head food, and figured I would share it with you lunkheads.

*chest bump*
I feel highly smug about the amount of push-ups I can do.

Between 80-100 in one set. Depends on how quickly I do them.
I only do them once or twice a month though, when I can't use my weights for whatever reason. When I was doing multiple sets every day I used to be better, but so many reps at such low resistance just didn't give me enough soreness the day after.
When my brother was swimming for Auburn, they would have 1-minute pushup drills, and some of those cats would be doing 85-90 pushups in 60 seconds. I can't even begin to imagine.
When I'm doing them quickly I have to count in 10s, like "7, 8, 9, 60" because I just can't keep up with myself otherwise. So I guess I could do 60+ in a minute. Things get pretty wobbly after 80, though.
Also, doing them quickly tends to make them easier. Increase your cadence and focus on perfect form for a real challenge.
Pushups aren't exactly my thing, but they help out a lot to keep my muscles from fatiguing when I swim. I can probably only max do 2 or 3 sets of 40, doing 50 pushups kills me

Just tried doing one-handed push-ups. I can do about three.
I can eat 100 treadmills.

I did 3 sets of 10 proper push ups yesterday. I'm never not doing them again. So satisfying.

I had another go earlier and I just couldn't get the balance right. They're fiddly bastards.
My ankle is all jacked up.
I rolled it a couple weeks ago and it didn't hurt at all but the next day it was irritated and since then it hasn't hurt until now. I don't know what I did to it for it to start acting up again. Nothing happened yesterday and I went to start my workout and was like FFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!
So I just hit the punching bag and speed bag for 3 hours. I attempted to jump rope but that failed miserably. I'm covered in sweat so I'm satisfied for now...

Trained over time. My abs used to be great - I could do hundreds and hundreds of sit-ups in one go - but I found them really boring to train and now neglect them a bit. I'm not too bad at pull ups/chin ups. I can do 20 pull-ups now.
I find static ab exercises are the best. Plank and then advanced plank like alternate limbs, extended hands, on top of exercise balls and so on.
I need to work on my chin ups...
