It was an OK party. It was more busy than i thought it would be, especially when Oakenfold was on in the KH.
I thought sander's set was pretty good, a few boring parts, but overall pretty good. Josh Gabriel was ok (only saw the 1st hour), and the parts of Oakenfold's set that i heard was very good. I would have stayed to listen to him longer but it was way too hot and crowded in the KH. But from what i heard, i would definitely say he had the best set of the night. Great energy, great music. I have never seen Paul Oakenfold before and i wasnt really expecting this from him. Definitely going to check him out more in the future.
When Armin came on, i was hoping it would continue. Unfortunately, it didnt. Armin came on, and all the momentum from Paul's set went down the drain. Armin played lots of filler and was pretty boring IMO. I actually couldnt believe he was that bad. I noticed people around me & my friends (at the back) werent even really dancing, and the KH started to empty a bit (which was good). I couldnt help but think that if this was PVD, it would of all been over, he would of definately continued rockin' the place after Oakenfold came off. I really thought that this was Armin's worst performance here (that ive seen, and ive seen him numerous times). After 2 hours of Armin, Cosmopolitan82 and I left.
All in all, an OK night.

review:
got in fine. was really tired till about 6ish, which pissed me off. spent the whole night in the KH except for a horrible adventure trying to find steve in the guv. music for the whole night was so-so.
thanks so much to kelly for the vip band. so much more fun dancing where theres room. missed most of oakies set b/c of catching up with a friend *heart* :P
