Isnt it ironic that we are very educated ladies with no jobs?? The workforce is losing out without us!!


FAK I AM SOOO POOR!!!!!!!!!!!!! and its only been a week and a half since graduation!!


LOL AND I have to pay $1000ish in fees for my lisence exam and lisence just to practice, but HOW THE FAK can I pay for that when I dont have a job and my rent just got JACKED $300 a month!!

I have tons of friends that did really well in school, finished up college and STILL can't get a decent job. It's all about who you know these days, or getting a lucky break.

you are def right. kellybelly is one of those girls, she knows everyone and its literally the reason she got someone to sponsor her citizenship and get her a job!!
Thankfully I am doing well on my job search because I think I am really good at what I do......I have been offered jobs, now the only factor is PICKING one. I feel its better to have too many choices than none I hope I dont push my luck!

networking is key, but just as important is the interview skills

i meet an asst gm of an mlb team yesterday in class and he got his job from his high school roommate literally...the guy is like 33 which is just nuts if you ask me.

ALl i have to say is, its all bout WHO YOU KNOW, YOUR SKILLS (they do not have to be on a paper) and your people skills.

I got my current job through a friend and i love it.

What you want for yourself is most important so don't let the employers pressure you into anything, but also be careful and think everything through. If you are not ready to decide immediately it would be nice if they gave you a day or two to evaluate...depends on the company. For most that is just too much to ask for since everyone wants everything like now or yesterday :P

My interview skills are on point...I have never had a problem finding a decent job and I never even went to college. Sometimes situations are just ass backwards for people. To make up for not having a good education I do have loads of work experience because I was working full time from the age of 16 and I never had to work in fast food or retail.

well it depends on the industry too. I work at Lehman in the Emerging Markets dept. to get in here you have to go through 4 rounds of interviews with different peoplel. My 3rd round was the worst I must tell you, I met with 3 MD's at the same time and they asked me shit like some guy purchases an item an receives no change. Before the purchase, he had only a $5 bill, two $10 bills, and a $20 bill. How many distinct possibilities are there for the total amount of his purchase?.. and they would stare at me waiting for an answer. They'd say ok you got 10 seconds kiddo..go..! I wanted to reach over the desk and destroy them!!! hehheh

if you think you are bad, I was supposed to go to the gym, get my ipod looked at, and go to a party this afternoon. I decided it was too hot and nixed all of those ideas immediately. LOL oops.

instead of going to the gym after work i'm gonna go to happy hour then nap then go out so i'll be really worthless today

so i'm kinda bored AGAIN so i decided to play with our very fancy new coffee machine at work...needless to say i consumed MASSIVE amounts of coffee and now i'm bored and jittery.

i hate not being productive and since i can't enagage in one of my favorite activities (sleeping) it was torture! my internship ends friday but i'm working an event the following week. i'm all done working for negative money.

Im not bored at all. I actually have a shitload of work and I really shouldn't be on here but I guess that is why they call it TranceADDICT cuz I seem to be addicted to this board

I am going to the gym across the hall for an hour today at lunch since I shouldnt really be using my car much till I get it fixed...I am literally not going to go anywhere except home and work till later this weekend after I get paid.

Another great interview today....this is getting so complicated, but I am counting my lucky stars that sooo many people have called me...as comparision to no choices at all.

wow yeah that DOES get annoying...its great they want you so badly though. maybe its hard to find qualified ppl in ur position. and thats great because u've carved out a niche for urself

not at work, wish i was....madd interviews tomrrow thru Friday though so i gotta prepare

altho i have to say the suns looking quite nice todayy maybe ill go tanning ^__^
