4. Wrigley Field: Chicago Cubs
5. Citizens Bank Park: Philadelphia Phillies
6. Petco Park: San Diego Padres
7. Dodger Stadium: Los Angeles Dodgers
8. Busch Stadium: St. Louis Cardinals
9. Turner Field: Atlanta Braves
10. Jacobs Field: Cleveland Indians
11. Angels Stadium: Anaheim Angels
12. Fenway Park: Boston Red Sox
13. US Cellular Field: Chicago White Sox
14. Miller Park: Milwaukee Brewers
15. Chase Field: Arizona Diamondbacks
16. Yankee Stadium: New York Yankees
17. Shea Stadium: New York Mets

Yes ive passed by PETCO *and* AT&T Park by car when I visited both areas -- pretty good areas for the stadium to be located at.

Damn you get around. You've already been to the new busch stadium?

what exactly is your criteria? Apparently you are giving higher ratings for newer parks, presumably with more modern amenities (except tampa).

Shea is a shit-hole and should be nowhere near yankees stadium, for that matter, i thought mcafee was better than shea, much better.

i can't stand either of the new york stadiums. agreed that shea stadium is a pisshole but yankee stadium isn't that great a place to view games either. the concourses are narrow and you really feel that when leaving the stadium. the seats are a bit cramped. i think new yorkers have been kind of cheated out of a great baseball experience for a long time.

I plan on visiting all of them and the new ones that pop up. I try to go to 3-5 a year.

Yes. It's nice, but it lacks character. They really did a half ass job when building the stadium. However, my opinion may change since I eventually plan on visiting it again when they finish up building the "Ballpark Village".

However, the fans are the best in baseball. Not even debatable. They literally live and die off baseball.

Seat/comfort is #1, then in no particular order, neighborhood, access to the ballpark, outside architecture, view you see past center field, anything memorable about the ballpark for the most part.

Not quite.

I have wrigley as my #4 favorite ballpark. They actually get the concept of leg room. Plus Wrigleyville is a phenomenal neighborhood to be around before and after the game.

Yankee Stadium is no better. It's narrow and cramped, plus you got eye sores between the left field boxes and the bleachers. (The garbage collector).

It has the charm of Rikers Island and the center field seats, affectionately known as "Mount Davis", is a killer. However, the fans are phenominal. Oakland fans are great.

Yeah, I go to school in Chicago - the two times I've gone we had seats in right field. Really cool area, stadium, people and atmosphere. Great place to catch a ballgame in my opinion.

I swear, old style beer is only good in the bleachers at wrigley field. I can't explain it

PNC takes the nod over Camden Yards since it's smaller and more intimate and the view past the outfield is incredible.

They're both excellent ballparks in their own right.

RFK used to be very similar in terms of energy - my Dad always said that in the late 80s, early 90s there was not a louder venue in sports. With the fans jumping up and down on the steel seats screaming "We Want Dallas!" Of course now the Skins have moved to an abominable stadium and haven't been legitimately good for 15 years while RFK remains old, outdated and only used for MLS games.

great fan vibe does not necessarily mean a great venue.

especially after yelling in the 3rd baseman's ear. Haha...that shit was funny. It seems to me arod is kind of a dirty little player: this and the infamous boston ball swat. I can't really hate though.

A sweep of boston would do wonders for moral.

Oh yeah...wtf is up with Youk? This dude is for real. I was definitely a non-believer (probably because his protruding chin drives me crazy), but he is no joke this year. Although he did start off well last year and then slipped off at the end of last year (admittedly not this well). so i guess we'll have to look out for that.

it's okay, a little puff puff will make you not give a shit.

Although I feel pretty good about tonight considering we have wang and they have wakefield. We usually do a number on him.

I thought tonight would have been a good opportunity to bring in Clemens and so did Sheila...Wakefield is their weakest link and I just think Wang is wasted against him..Unless Torre is just looking to pick up the one certain victory....

moving pitchers out of their spot in the rotation is a little touchy because then everyone else gets bump down a day (which can throw off rhythm) or you have to skip wang altogether (which certainly isn't something we want).

we have mussina (v. schilling) and pettitte (v. beckett) going for us the next days so it isn't that bad. I don't think we'll see a replay of shilling's debacle, but i think Beckett is due for loss number 1, which may happen given pettitte is opposite him.

Oh....let me add. don't be too disappointed when clemens doesn't post a sub-4 era this year. He definitely lost some stuff, and the NL central was the probably the weakest division in baseball, offensively, the last 3 years.

my prediction for his first start against a punchless white sox offense:

6.0 IP, 2 ER, 5 Hits, 6 Ks

I'm not that confident. I think he'll be around 6 IP, but he'll give up 4 runs +/- 1, let up 6 or 7 hits, and strike out 5-6.

from what i've been watching his FB is off about 5 mph.

Nice to see the yankees win finally. Hopefully we can knock off schilling early also.
