Hey guys, some of us TOTA's are planning to come up to party, but we don't know much about the area...

what's a good cheap hotel to stay at by the place?

Is there a dress code or colour theme?

and is gonna be a similar layout like bal en blanc? like massage tables in between the rooms, washroom layout, and snack bars?

and are cameras allowed at this event?

Will there be any afterparties? lol

What are the perks for VIP tickets?

oi no theme for newyears, it usually has the massage tables, its at the bell center arena so it'll be ontop of the ice and tables will be located somewhere in the halls i think.. bell center arena washrooms+snack bars..

as for hotels and cams not sure

buy an expensive camera phone from Future Shop then return it
Most likely no cams except the one connected on your phone. For hotels, go a google search and then call the toll free numbers.. book early as some have already sold out for NYE.

Maritime Plaza, La Tour Belvedere, Sheraton, most hotels downtown are only a few bucks cab ride from Bell.

HERE is the link 2 hotels near the bell centre (walking distance).. i suggest u reserve in advance.. don't 4get resolution is on NYE... therefor one of the busiest night of the year..

In case someone missed it:

VIP = gives u private entrance, access 2 stage near the dj booth, vip bar and coat check... Limited amount available ( i think we're sold out, check on-line www.admission.com & www.wantickets.com - click canada outlet)

BELL centre has lots of washrooms available.. they will b mixed so it will b rare that u will have 2 do line-up... which is a BIG plus...

MASSAGES services usually r available and r located in the hallways (if i remember correctly it's on the first or second level) . Since bell centre is a big cercle..just go 4 a walk threw the halls and u will eventually run into it..

NO Cameras*, DRUGS or bad attitude lol
Police on site!!!!!
* unless u've got a cel cam..


As 4 the rest.. i don't think there will b a dress code.. but u never know what surprises Bal en blanc has in stock 4u!!!

what is the going rate for a hotel room somewhere near the bell centre? i could care less about spending time there I just need somewhere where I can drop off my stuff...my plan is to get drop off my stuff change go to the party then make my way back to New York.

^^^Rue St-Hubert (around Maisonneuve) is your friend then. Cheap ones there, starting at $60.. but as I've said before, just ignore the signs that say "1-hr Siestas"
