Seriously, such a great Dman. He should be short shifting after the allstar game/break Im guessing.

Sharks off to a good start with the wings. Both really playing well.

Rob Blake took a puck to the chin from Phanuff and is out for a few weeks now... Fractured jaw and will be wearing a cage.

he is only going to miss 2 games.

another 2 pts last night with a farm team on the ice, the future looks good.

andrei kostitsyn is on fire with a 7 game goal streak!

Bring on the fuckin playoffs already. Sharks and wings last night was the best regular season game Ive seen in almost forever. Everyone was playing hockey. If that was any idea of how intense the playoff games will be this season....I cant wait. Defense did a good job picking up Blakes absence.

Posted by elFreak on Jan-19-2009 04:48:

he had problems after getting cranked in the head early on this year, but after getting over the "fear" he has become a very steady little psycho.

Allstar game sunday. Crosby is sitting it out. Thornton is captain for the west. I heard the NHL is fining the guys that cant play or chose not to. I think that has to be biggest pile of shit ever. Let them recover...the allstar game is a huge fucking joke. Its ok to watch as a fan but everyone is taking easy for the week for the last half of the season. Why fine them? why would you want to possibly injure yourself over a game that doesnt lead to the cup?

Posted by sean5 on Jan-25-2009 01:33:

no, the rule is that they have to miss a game. detroit will be without lidstrom and datsyuk in their next game.

Ovy is awesome. I liked that he acted a fool during skills.

Posted by sean5 on Jan-25-2009 23:25:

look at the clown with his obama family t-shirt. couldn't they find anyone better to sing? was enough of a laugh seeing that kovalev was the captain, but i think that just took the cake

Posted by L.E.N. on Jan-25-2009 23:54:

The whole all star coverage is a fuckin joke. They dont even mention who gets the assist but talk about other bullshit . The opening to the game was fuckin gay.

2 goals and shootout winner. Hmm...how is that rotten egg all over your face?

The All Star Game was in Montreal in the franchise's 100th year anniversary. Who cares if a they had 4 players on the team for the East? Did it really ruin the fucking game? Does anyone even care about the game anyway?

Montreal is the face of the NHL (along with the other Original 6 teams) and deserve all the respect and tradition they get.

so the face of the nhl is a city full of idiots that riots and kills people after barely getting out of the first round? montreal is full of idiots who call themselves fans who brag about a bunch of stanley cups that were won when they weren't even born. kovalev sucks, wasn't the only one to have two goals, and was only chosen to the allstar game/shootout because of the french idiots. the 'egg' will be on montreal fairies when their team of all stars (scrubs) makes a swift exit in the first round.
