No, you shouldn't work out when you're sick. It weakens your immune system and furthermore, don't go the fucking gym when you're sick and spread your goddamn germs around. Aren't you becoming a nurse? You should know better.
Damn, almost a month between posts. Does that mean everyone's content with fat bastardhood, or everyone's just quietly ticking over with their routines?
For my part, I've toned down the frequency of workouts. I think I was definitely guilty of over-training in the summer, lifting or running every single day and not giving my body enough recovery. I ended up getting a slew of injuries and a bit of a plateau on the weights. Now I'm working out less but I'm making more progress and feeling better for it. You perform better when you've properly recovered.
Nah, I just didn't think there was much point in reposting my routine all the time. Took two weeks off and had my first blast session tonight. Just a quick 30 minute workout, doing all my staple exercises and skipping the ones I usually whine through (planks, lol).
Feels good to take a break once in a while - provided one gets right back on the wagon in a timely manner, heh.

you'll be the first to know on here when I get accepted

and I'm not killing myself at the gym....okay maybe I am on somedays but still... it's just 5 days a week for at least an hour. I mean, I'm not trying to lose weight fast or anything. I've been going to the gym 4 months now, it's part of a lifestyle change
I do boxing and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu four days a week and am thinking about adding a 5k run Monday, Wednesday, and Friday now that I have running shoes. Any work outside of practice is more or less following workouts I've picked up over the years (and alternating between them) from magazines and websites. I'm not into weight lifting for size gains at all.
What does everyone do for meals? I eat six times a day since I have a hard time keeping on weight.

I eat 4-6 meals a day, depending on how long my day is. Lots of eggs, fish, chicken, tuna, fresh veggies (lots of broccoli and spinach salads), cottage cheese, fruit (in the morning only), oatmeal, protein shakes.
I had a fucking bombass dinner last night. Panko breaded chicken parmesan with fresh tomato + basil salsa on top, side of broccoli and a spinach salad. OM NOM NOM. Can't wait for leftovers at lunch today.
There was this fat fucking bitch at the gym last night sitting on the thigh press babbling on her cell phone and not even really using it. I had finished all my weights and wanted on that machine.
So she finally gets off and doesn't wipe it down, so I grab a paper towel and spray it down myself and I could see her staring at me from my peripheral vision and she was glaring. Kept giving me dirty looks until I left.
WTF

Get pissed at me because I don't want my pants to absorb your nasty ass sweat.
Stupid fat bitch.
While I miss the motivation of being surrounded mostly by ugly/stupid/fat/whore idiots at the gym, I really love not having to go there anymore to work out.
I have a treadmill and an elliptical at home but I still keep my gym membership because my work has a sweet corporate plan and I get it for almost nothing. Best of both worlds.
For cardio, I really enjoy being surrounded by people who are killin it. I don't have much motivation otherwise.
Plus, nothing for weight training at home except my little 5 pounders.

Watts - Mine isn't for gaining weight but I eat 6 small meals a day (1 every 3 hours). High fiber oatmeal(LOVE), fruit, chicken, I should eat fish but I hate it, no red meat, Special K protein bars, some veggies but I hate most of them so that's one of the hardest parts for me when it comes to diet, lots of water of course, cranberry juice (that's cuz I want to get rid of the THC in my system
). Oh and no carbs after 6pm! Those are for the morning and early afternoon. I try to make breakfast my biggest (calorie and carb) meal and dinner being the smallest.I've still allow myself to cheat ONCE a week (only one meal) because a common mistake people do is eliminate everything immediately. You've gotta do it slow! Had I not done that I probably would have broken the diet already.
Next step for me is eliminating the cheat day and continuing the 6 small meals a day plan . Maybe I'll let myself have one cheat meal every 2 weeks or something but I don't know....with the 18lbs I lost last month alone I'm more motivated than ever.
Oh and stupid me never kept track of how much I've lost in total since I started 4 months ago but whatever, at least I'm keeping track now.

look. Yeah bitch, roll your eyes because I'm actually going to the gym to WORK OUT and get fit and toned. I'm not paying a membership to go there and barely walk on the treadmill and leave after 15 minutes.
Doctor told me to get an exercise bike cause of stress... Its not as fun as real biking...
Also when I got it I jumped on and was like "wtf this things resistance is like really high!" and check the number and it was at the lowest level and i was like "fuck am i that out of shape!?" but i keep going and like after 2 minutes im totally exhausted. I think "this cant be right..." also because there was this weird clunking sound every rotation...
So I open up the side of it to check and when I do I don't see anything too strange... So I spin the peddle with my hand and the magnetic break goes down all the way...
The fucking magnetic break was stuck in the up position.

One whole egg + 3 egg whites omelet with garlic sauteed spinach, green pepper, green onion, and mushroom. OM NOM NOM NOM.

I've started microwaving 4 egg whites in the morning with BBQ sauce and again at night for a protein boost. Never knew you could microwave eggs until I read it in some article recently. BBQ sauce makes it go down much easier.
I poach eggs in the microwave all the time. ![]()

try powerwalks...that's how I started. It is better for your joints, too!
would help
kinda getting tired of the cranberry juice.
The seat hurts my ass... not as bad as my normal bikes seat, but... still pretty annoying...
