i was thinking bout posting a thread requesting some good tunes that have been released over the last 3 months since i was back home and the dload speeds here still have a long way to go but i think the above is all i need to look up ... thanks guys hope to meet some of u guys there

My Labour of Love weekend is in danger....

Because I can't afford the FAKING GAS PRICES!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I paid $3.25 today, and it promises to become $3.50 by the weekend!!

And on top of that, i had made plans with Fahad to meetup for dinner, and going to pre-parties, etc....but I have not heard from fahad in WEEKS, so now I am afraid to go to Guvernment/Toronto by myself

I also took a risk in going to this party the DAY before I move to New York, hoping it would all work out, and the plans are becoming a disaster...too little time!!

I am officially throwing my self a pity party because this weekend is becoming a mess!!

Any thoughts of sympathy, encouragement, etc are much appreciated in this thread........ thanks.

There's a few pre parties I saw going on before LoL4 , go check those out until the club starts, once its done drive back to new york? Bus again would be an option, just not really worth missing over something like the gas prices, we're all hurting

I think we met at Tiesto in June and many others of us will be there at Nat's place for the 3rd Annual TA BBQ - lots of opportunity to get re-aquainted on a much easier level

A large percentage of us will also be heading out to LOL the next night.....you are staying in a hotel I assume(???) and if it is downtown then you are only a ten minute car/cab or subway ride away from the BBQ and the Guvernment on either night.

You are a welcome and endearing person to some of us TOTA's and we would very much like your presence at both of these WIKKID events!

Get your BUTT down here and do not worry - it's the last weekend of the summer and a great opportunity for you to enjoy Toronto and it's EDM community - the BBQ with it's wide array of peeps (TA's from across North America and beyond.....)the stellar TA DJ line-up and loads of mingling friendship opportunities and of course the "Mother of All Parties" at the GUV for Labour of Love.

I sincerely hope you make it down here/up here - we'd love to have ya

As everyone else said, don't be silly! I wouldn't even be a part of this scene if it wasn't for me going to an event absolutely alone to meet up with TAs. That was 3 years ago, and I'm still partying with them to this day.

Think of it as an opportunity to meet tons of great, fun, like-minded people. You'll have a blast, I promise.
