Yep, structure is good.

But I think we need to wait for the official announcements as to who's playing who. But here's my theory.

Yanks vs Angels - Yanks in 4
Red Sox vs White Sox - Red Sox in 5.
Yanks vs Red Sox - Yanks in 6 or 7.

St. Louis vs. San Diego - Cards in 3
Houston vs. Atlanta - Braves in 5.
Cards vs. Braves - Cards in 6

Yanks vs. Cards - Yanks in 7.

I'm biased but I have a feeling!

I'm miffed that the Yanks didn't play harder today against the Red Sox to get home field advantage over the Angels but we'll still beat em.

Here the tie-breaking formula:

If two or more persons are tied during or at the end of the World Series playoff round, this formula shall be used for a tie-breaker, listed in priority order: the higher number of points collected from Division Series round; followed by (only if there are ties remaining) Points Total after League Championship Series, then # of wins by the chosen world series team (to win), followed by Chosen Team winning the World Series, followed by Runner-up Points from World Series round. If two or more persons remain tied after that, either the earlier submission counts, or in case of winners, at playoff pool administator's discretion (me), both MIGHT be considered the winner.

I find it hilarious that all those experts on ESPN are picking Houston to win the World Series, though Petitte could help get them there at least.

Smoltz, Glavine, Maddux, etc... only won one world series. You can't just win with starting pitching, that is sort of a wives tale. It definitely helps but isn't the only reason for winning. You still need to score more runs than the other team and I'm afraid Houston's bats will suffer in the crunch in order to take the world series. But that's just my opinion...

I'll let others think Jason Lane and Berkman are offensive forces.

Hard to go wrong with Pettite, Clemens, and Oswalt but Clemens really hasn't been that special in the post-season except for a few outings. Pettite is a big game pitcher, love the guy so I won't say anything there.

Im watching the St Louis/San Diego game right now but i have to leave for class soon. Ill be in class during the Soxs' game as well but hopefully i'll be back right around the 6th or 7th inning.

My playoff picks are not conducive to who I'm actually rooting for, since I always root for the underdog. I'd like to see the Padres advance, but i don't think it's likely.
