might as well get a 350, its pretty much the same car, but cheaper.

I remember in hs my friend was like "yo lets ride in the qx4" and we would just say... "you mean the pathfinder"?

Posted by miamitranceman on Mar-26-2009 23:49:

Speaking of the Z, I finally saw a new 370 in person. Awesome refresh. I like how they shortened the front and rear overhang. Very tough looking.

i love all sports cars but i prefer the ones that have that extra luxury compenent like the G35. it's like 2 in 1. it's a great fucking car. we just took it out for a bit to see what it's made of. the handling is amazing. very controllable car at high speeds and sharp turns, etc... i'm in love

B&B Tuning Scirocco|

http://www.cartype.com/pages/3809/b...swagen_scirocco

If I was to buy a Scirocco I would probably use Rieger Styling. I used A Rieger kit on my MK5 TDI Golf a few years ago, Here is some previous car history :

The plan then was to buy a GTI and Rieger like so :

That never happened and along came a 225bhp Megane Sport, here :

Which looked like piss beside this :

Ohh Rieger Scirocco :

LOL I love that 9-3 Sportcombi. Such a sick wagon imho.

Also, ever seen one of these? I have yet to see one in person. Apparently it is one of the rarest Golf models ever produced.

Yes, although I am pretty sure in its multicolour polo form, rare indeed.

It reminds me of the cars that float around with different colour panels due to second hand breaker parts, white van black door

I remember the multicolour VW on release, so showing my age a little. And even though they look crap I kinda like odd shit like that.

seen this at lunch time:

Jetta 2 doors.

(picture found on the net)

Posted by pmoisse on Mar-27-2009 19:36:

I used to see the multicolour Golf's around town all the time back home in Waterloo, Ontario. Someone at the local dealership told me that they brought those over special, but I could never confirm the story.

A friend from back home also had a 2 door Mk1 Jetta like in Malek's photo. His was this nasty faded stock orange colour, but it was fast as hell and sounded so rowdy. It was great.

That M3 is sick, but I'm willing to bet that the wheels are very good photochop add-ons. The guy has single nut hubs in the picture, and I'm just skeptical that someone would have those on a car that doesn't have a gutted interior with racing seats and a cage.

I have to agree with this, as these wheels are usually 10k each, but I have seen some hub conversions and used wheels for relatively cheap.

I don't think there's anything cheap about those wheels. They look like bespoke BBS units.

Also, if you try to cheap out with a single hub conversion, that's risky from a safety perspective and imho takes away from the quality of an otherwise hot car. If you're gonna do it to the tits, don't cut corners.

After looking at it again, I'm more convinced it's a chop. The backspacing on those wheels is really deep, and if he used an adapter plate it would only force the hub centre out further. Also, if he used proper track car hub assemblies and control arms, they would be wide-track units for racing and therefore those wheels wouldn't tuck into the stock arches like that.

But now I'm just being a picky geek

Note the lack of deep dish on the factory DTM car equipped with single bolt hubs:

I wasn't meaning cheap in quality, I meant cheap in cost. I am not a fan of not doing things properly. Do it right or don't do it is my motto for car stuff.

No worries, I apologize if my "cheap" comment sounded like it was in your direction.
