You seem like a decent guy from what I have seen, and thats why your post above suprises me.

I agree that these silly immature arguments are annoying, they are in the extreme. It seems this forum army of moral crusaders feel a need to get involved in any discussion where people don't agree with each other. You get this person sticking up for this one just in case they got offended, that person sticking up for this one just because there is a chance the world might think they are no longer a good person and that person sticking up for that person because everybody else is. A little too much arse slapping if you ask me.

A closer look will show a whole army of over-reactors. Its like the uproar when Janet Jackson showed her nipple on television, the smallest event in the history of humankind and the huge response from a population of conservative twats, thats pretty much what happens here when I post. I'm not that offensive at all, but people seem to feel this need to attack me, I'm even getting picked on for my spelling. I will ensure to make sure my grammar in the future is perfect to ensure that I don't cause any more problems.

I guess it would be easier just to ban me, and anybody else that doesn't agree with the majority, but thats just a little over the top I would think. You will notice that its not just me, other posters have coined a term 'ta communists'.

Is it a rule that everybody must get along?

And am I really that offensive? Most of the time there appears to be at least a few people that agree with me.

Don't accept that idea that you have flaws, confidence is the only solution.

Sometimes in relationships people lose themselves, and you've gotta make sure this doens't happen, and don't be harsh on yourself. If you can't love yourself, how is anybody else going to?

yes you truly are the victim of a TA witch hunt. I wish our attempts to get you to give up would only be more successful. You encourage those on the forum to reach new lows with your little snide comments. We're all tired of them and that's why you deserve everything that's been said and more. I usually don't get caught up in these kind of things, but for you I'll make an exception because you truly are a peice of shit...and I'm going to remind you of that everytime you start up your bullshit.

Talking about the original discussion, the reason why I think I'd better accept the fact that I have flaws is because, no matter how much I like myself (edit: and I do ), I can always get better. We all can. If I ignore it, I know I can become arrogant, and may commit stupid mistakes simply by not meaning to see them.

I've done it in the past, and I guess I learned my lesson. I guess we should be confident enough to know that we always need to improve. Or that's just me sleepy

spec - Give me a break. As stated before, I am merely doing what you have done to others. I am surprised that you haven't caught on to that yet. I could give a shit about your spelling. Spell every single word wrong. It won't have any impact on my life.

I agree we are all different and don't share each others views. How many times have you called someone on TA a loser for being different from you? Just because we don't think and act like you doesn't make us losers.

Speaking of Sudan. I have a friend who is in the army, someone I happen to care about deeply, and he called me last night to tell me that he is on 12 hour call to go there.

He assures me that he will be ok if he does go, but he would say that to me no matter what the situation was, just to keep me from worrying about him, (which I do a lot.)

Does anyone know how dangerous it is? And how would their people compare to a Canadian battalion? I am not fully aware of what is going on there, but any type of war scares me..

As for what girls go for, well for me, I go for a guy that I have obvious chemistry with. We have to get along, and have an obvious attraction to each other.
He has to make me laugh, and know how to make me feel good when things get me down.
He needs to be sensitive when needed, but can be manly the rest of the time.
He HAS to have good hygiene. If you have nasty teeth, auto-turn off for me.
We have to respect each other, and how we feel about different topics.
He has to be polite, and sweet, but also knows when to be a total goof and be silly.
He needs to know when to let loose and be immature. Have tickle/pillow/water fights. Make silly faces at me when I drive, and can handle it when I do it back.
He needs to be responsible. Drugs/alcohol in moderation, cut the drugs all together after college or university. (Yes I want my man to have at least gone to some program after highschool. That's where the "educated" part comes in.)
I could go on forever....

Basically, he has to be my best friend, except add in some intimacy, romance, passion, and love. That is what I look for in a man.

If he does something I wouldn't take from my best girlfriend, then he's out to the curb. I haven't ever been with a bad guy. I have been with someone who eventually turned into a bad guy, but that was over the course of three years, and was caused by drugs/alcohol/depression. All the rest of them have been decent guys, but I just haven't clicked with.
