Added some stuff to that setup since last time I posted in here:

Entire Setup:

Technics SL-1210M5G Turntables
Pioneer DJM-400 Mixer
Shure Whitelabel Cartridges
Sony MDR-7506 Headphones
KRK Rokit 6SE Monitors
Rane Serato Scratch Live
LG L194WT 19" Widescreen Monitor
Logitech G7 Cordless Mouse

My computer is off to the left (desk is messy so I didn't take a pic) that runs the serato scratch and the 19" monitor through dual monitor support.

these Krk white monitors are cool

yea, they're not ugly. they look smooth.

Posted by cmay119 on Aug-08-2007 23:49:

I honestly liked them as well, plus they were an open box special at my local Guitar Center so I got 'em for about $100 cheaper than normal for the pair.

Posted by i got big pants on Aug-09-2007 03:15:

how much did they cost you? krk's make a shitload of profit for guitar center...probably couldve talked the sales rep down $100 for new ones

Posted by aLviNx80 on Aug-09-2007 08:07:

i got my pair of brand new KRK V6's for $500 at my local guitar center last year, which was about $200 cheaper than their normal price at the time.

lol, actually I use it to give the vinyl a little blast before I play each record. That and a little Gruv Glide seems to do a tremendous job of keeping the wax tip top. Keeps the styli cleaner, too, I've found.

I might have to try your theory, though.

Careful with the Gruv Glide its not ment to be used on your records every time. Read the can its suposed to be a one time treatment. If you use it every time you'll wear away your records. For every day cleaning use some rubbing alchol mixed with distilled water. Its alot cheeper, and it won't kill your records.
