when pvd played nu-nrg i just flipped..lol
Well, Well, Well.. I don't know about you people saying that PVD's set was boring. To me those 2 hours were the best 2 hours of Trance I ever heard in my life ! As expected, I too was super pissed off that PVD only played for 2 hours.. Considering the amount of money that he got from this gig, he should really be ashamed of himself. I hope this same CD will skip again at another gig, and he will hopefully learn his mistake. I hope that this *misunderstanding* didn't ruin the relationship between Aria's mgmt and PVD. It would be sad if Aria will never book him again.
Well, enough about bad stuff... seriously, the night has been absolutely amazing ! First Preach played a really really decent set, very trancy just the way I like it(Airwave - Save Me was the highlight of his set for me). Finally PVD started at about 4:30. I absolutely enjoyed every single minute of his set, tracks like Rapid Eye - Circa Forever, PVD - Another Way, Coldplay - Clocks and of course Circ - Destroy She Said(this track was the highlight of the night for me) really put me in heaven.
Finally thanks to all the TAs that I met and some non-TAs(possibly future TAs ?? ) for making this night awesome! Really, without some of you people partying just wouldn't be the same !
Hey I saw you in your hat, I'll be sure to say hi next time
what a nite!! i had such wicked time!! really fantastic!! a bit too packed and hot on the dancefloor so i found my perfect dancing space on the table behind the dj booth kicking and kneeing taha!! hehe!! sorry!!!
...
tip: best spot to not have sweaty ex-sona ginos rubbing against you, and touching and feeling you up!
agh! is aria, now that sona is closed, turning into a meat market?? ...
as with tiesto, i've also become disenchanted with pvd ... he did lay down great tracks and spin a cool little set, but it was just not long enuf!!
preach and marco g were def the ones who turned the nite into one crazy, wild and explosive nite!! ... they were both better than ever!
great seeing all of you again, and to finally meet you, mastercongo!!!
BTW, I thought Marco G's set kinda sucked.. It was way too repetitive and boring for my liking. I did dance to it, but I kinda prefer enjoying the music rather than just dancing to it without any enjoyment. He did play a few awesome techno tunes, but overall.... not very good..

I said that's fine just get me something else whatever you have. "What do you want me to do" he screamed. Get me some fucking food idiot. I was going to throw my rotten potatoe shit in that pricks face. (sorry no offense to arab cuisine here.. I am sure it's good when its fresh.) |

| Originally posted by USMC_Greg Then his CD skipped, and PVD snapped. He started blasting someone as if it was the equipments fault for the problem. I thought he looked like one of those spoiled brats. Anyone else would have just dealt with it and move on. That took away from my "music high". |

Then I finally got back into the music after about 3 songs following "the incident". The whole night I found myself saying "wow, that's a fucking great tune". Especially when he played Butterfly --that was off the hook. The crowed didn't seem to understand that song though. I was going nuts and everyone else was just looking lame or something |
I could easily see it from where I was. The good part of this is that people really wanted to party that night because when Marco G came with his banging tracks everyone got back to dancing
For Durafei and other guys who really really enjoyed the set this is my reply:
this was a really good set of trance but I and many people dont love trance as much as techno and thats why they were dissapointed

The reason why PVD was late is because he decided at the last minute to spin on the new Mixer. So the sound crew had to reconfigure everything on the spot. That's why the sound is so much better.
PVD was bitching at the pioneer CD/turntable (i don't know how its called), he was so mad, I couldn't believe my eyes.
PVD redefined the term "special dj" as I tought it applied only to Sasha
i don't like people like this ... AT LEAST BE A GOD ON THE TURNTABLES THEN YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO BE THE COCKIEST PERSON ON EARTH , OTHERWISE JUST GET YOUR FEET BACK TO EARTH
Derrick Carter is GOD
haha don'T remind me
did Marco G play
innerdrive - absolutly necessary???
Marco G dropped a Daft Punk track... I'll find the name. It was the first time I ever heard that track in a club

| Originally posted by discojoe eek sorry if you misinterpreted me. I wasnt at all upset over the fact that he had nothing left. But as soon as he realized he had no meat left he flipped on us. All he had to say was "i am sorry we dont have anything left." Why is that so difficult? |

WOA !!
I can actually say that i enjoyed myself on a trance nighyt ( wich u all know i hate trance )
Preach : By far the set of the night .... proggy, trance, never cheesy ... once again he proved that he owns his place @ the aria
Pvd: Was good , a buit cheesy from time to time but still it was good, i danced a bit, had fun
Marco : Left after 2 songs, and i still can't believe he has had the guts to play Faithless - insomnia right after Pvd !!!
so in all it was a good night .. not a great one. But i now see why pvd is @ the top ... i've never felt that much energu comin from the crowd
By the way I've seen and met tooo many ppl to remember all your names so if i've forgot u i'm sorry !!
But big hi to otermy , rubyriva, taha, zing, alec, silke ( may 17th dear ) and a bunch other wich i just can't remember your names as it's 11h30 pm friday night and i still haven't slept !!!!
