i'm guessing it's because the fire in the background doesn't look all that great huh? a bit pixelly. that's alright...hm...i might be able to fix it. lemme give it a go in photoshop and see if i can do my self-made fire still.

lynx, how hard is it to make sigs, not elaborate ones like yours, but to start somewhere, could someone like me do it?

of course!! it's not that difficult. it's best to plan ahead first, as in, have an idea/theme and put it down on paper. my best advice is this:

know what you create, create what you know.

ahhh...yeah that does look pretty cool. hehe. it's not up to me now...it's up to utopia. the thing is, if there's too much fire in the background, it'll overpower the utopia's name in the front. and utopia's name is the foreground...so it looks fine the way it is now, the black acts as the backbone and the lighter colour gives the eye a focal point.
