Tiesto is the man no matter what, i just downloaded it and its amazing his transitions are perfect, track selection flows all the way through the mix, what more can we ask for here. It deserves a 10 at least thats what i think.

- I will NOT download the Nyana CD from the net, hence it will kill the whole moode and emotion of anxiety once the CD comes out, there's nothing like that feeling of wanting something and finally getting it, without knowing what it has.. PRICELESS, so will def. buy it. Did the same with PvD's Global, will do the same with Tiesto's NYANA.

Big Ears

This is a quality release IMO. I think the first 2 tracks on the first cd aren't nothing to get excited over but after that it starts to pick up speed :-D I'm impressed, the mixing bit doesn't matter one way or another (read-protools) but the tracklist is rather impressive. As for the material being old, I am going to have to disagree. ATRC still hasn't even been signed (AFAIK) and other tracks haven't been released as of yet. There is some older stuff on here (GTR- Mistral, tears from the moon) but overall its pretty up to date and i think it captures a nice crossection of trance for the past 6 mo.s or so :-D Nice to get a quality version of As the rush comes and beautiful things finally also :-)

I was hyped for this CD when I first heard about it, but after listening my excitement has been diminished. CD 1 sucks, and CD 2 could have been much better. The mixing is so-so and should have been much better for a commercial release. When I download a liveset and the mixing sucks I can pass it off by saying, "oh well, it's free," but when I pay $20 for essentially a live set the mixing better be spot on, and I don't care if they have to use pro tools to get it that way. Overall, I'm not very impressed by the whole compilation, it just feels very rushed and thrown together. I may purchase it sometime if I stumble across it and am in the mood for an impulse buy, but I will definately not be running out to get it when it's released. Now, GU24 on the other hand is what a mixed compilation cd should sound like, and I am very happy with my purchase of that.
