You guys are going to have an awesome time!!!

He played pretty hard in Seattle,,, and finished set with his rmx of Adagio For Strings... AMAZING

pics from the Seattle show will be up soon

Posted by apri_peel on May-25-2003 21:31:

that tiesto remix of adagio for strings is brilliant, not as good as ferry's remix, but still great

less than 2 weeks to go!!

Posted by .montecarlo. on May-25-2003 21:59:

Hey 24K, do you remember if he played Motorcycle - As The Rush Comes?

No, he played too hard to fit that in his set. At least I don't remember hearing it.

Posted by apri_peel on May-26-2003 02:10:

meh, that track is overplayed, its great, but its more of an armin and ferry kinda track. actually, ferry is too cheese for that. that track and tiesto's remix of venus get played way too much by everyone.

would be great if tiesto did a hard set, going back to his roots, he never was a very good melodic or uplifting DJ

justin, danny, do you guys remember if tiesto played frank biazzi's remix of obsession?

not a good uplifting dj??? hmmmmmm, he was the best uplifting dj...

i hope his set is more like CD2 of Nyana than CD1, although either will be awsome

dont get me wrong, he's great, but i think he's best at harder mixing

CD2 of nyana was good, but he can do so much better. nothing will ever beat the magik series, EVER

about tickets, i need 5 tickets, 5 tickets needed

Posted by apri_peel on May-26-2003 18:08:

i was just selling my exra one and the guy who's buying said he needed 6. so whatever your price is, name it.

Posted by SparcZ on May-26-2003 18:14:

Hmmmmm... that's what I thought too. But honestly,,, after hearing Tiesto's mix live... I think his mix is slightly better

Posted by 24K on May-27-2003 07:56:

*shameless self-promo*

If anyone doesn't end up getting in to see Tiesto,,, you're welcome to join us on our boat party which will be going until 5am

Posted by sothis on May-27-2003 08:51:

well, hopefully his set wasnt like the one in seattle. he played REALLY hard shit in seattle, which was terribly disappointing considering every time ive seen him at the commodore, its been fluffy and uplifting.

heres hoping he does a usual vancouver set on the 7th!

Thumbs down

and people who buy a ticket for 25 canadian, and then sell it for THREE TIMES the buying price, should be shot. (or else should have their car broken into while at the show and all their stuff stolen).

talk about bad karma and/or being a shitty part of the scene. if i ever have to part with a ticket... i sell it for the same price i bought it for, or MAYBE a little bit more. fuck that scalping/ripping off fellow trance lovers bullshit. ass. >_<

Posted by SparcZ on May-27-2003 14:27:

lol! shit i've paid four times a ticket price for certain events myself. for example, going to see Michael Jordan play cost me $200 for a $45 ticket but i got to see MJ play though

Oh and btw, tickets were 32.50 with all the bullshit TM charges...

Posted by sothis on May-27-2003 17:21:

so, because youve been ripped off for tickets before, that makes it ok for you to buy tickets just to gouge fellow party kids out of their money?

ill stick with my "ass" comment.

(32.50? who cares. ok, so you are only charging people twice as much. guess that makes it better.)

Posted by SparcZ on May-27-2003 17:43:

I am not forcing anyone to buy anything. Heck if no one buys them then I have increased my chances of winning the trip. Take a breather...

I agree, everybody likes to make a few little bucks here and there but i don't know if that is a proper way of doing it. I can understand selling your ticket for maybe 5 bucks or so than you paid for it for your efforts... but if you don't intend on using it, whats it to you? If people didn't get tickets on time it was either because they were too lazy or were held up for some reason... why not help a brother out?

thats what im sayin.

and its not even like sparcz accidentally bought a few extra tickets, or had a friend who couldnt go, so he wants to make a bit more money on the extras. its pretty obvious he bought tickets ON PURPOSE to sell for double the price, which i think is just fucked up.

Posted by SparcZ on May-27-2003 18:44:

lol so you know my life story...hahaha...actually we are always short tickets so at one point we decided that we would buy 5 extra tickets for friends and then it just happens that we both bought 5 a piece and now we have 10 extra tickets...so we figure might as well sell the extra 5...

sothis, you show you're age very well and i commend you on that...so bitter at such a young age...it's a shame really...

Here's to Love, Peace, Happiness and $70 a ticket!

Muwahahaha

Posted by sothis on May-27-2003 19:07:

hey man, at least at 22 years old, i've learned the difference between "your" and "you're".

regardless, what does being 22 have to do with not liking being fucked out of money? i guess once i am older, i will see the error in my ways and think it is perfectly acceptable to buy tickets, and then gouge people out of their money? i don't think that's an age issue, i think thats a decency/kindness issue. you, at , think its acceptable. i, at 22, don't. and if you call being irritated at people who purposefully fuck others out of money, bitter, i guess that's what i am. but i'd try to come up with a better adjective for your next response since "bitter" really is not applicable in this case.

Posted by SparcZ on May-27-2003 19:36:

lol...if all you can do is just catch me on typos big deal...let's just agree to disagree and make sure you don't buy anything name brand because they gouge you ok? you have a great day and see you on the dance floor
