w/regards to drugs. Some carry risks, some don't. If you want to try them then go for it. Many people die doing dangerous things that they enjoy. I bet half the people who resent people for risking their lives with drugs laugh at the blokes on Jackass speeding down a hill in a shopping trolly

k i have done weed, e , coke, shrroms, acid, meth, erimin5, ketamine mm only think that stuck with me now is E wouldnt say i was addicted just that i enjoy myself entirely too much but fuck i'll just draw the line at heroin and crack. whatever i figure i be done with drugs soon anyways so...why not live for the present.

When i meet someone who is clearly against drugs, if he/she completely ignores/wants nothing to do with me, if only for the reason that i have taken drugs in the past, now that pisses me off.

why is it that if we take drugs, we're automatically addicted to them (according to title of thread)

I dont consider myself a pot head, or anything even though i do smoke almost everynight. I actually dont like the idea of having a lifestyle dedicated to a drug (which in theory, makes a pot head), i dont knwo what i'm trying to say, but i think that made sence.

As most of you probably know (and want to kick my head for), I have never done drugs or smoked. I will admit that I drink alcohol and have gotten shit-faced, so you can all sue me for that. But, I consider my life pretty successful up to date. Every minute of every day I do not regret it. I don't think people are a lesser degree than I am because they take them. Some of the people that I care most about in this world have their problems with them. I only think that people are a lesser degree than I am when they are defensive drug taking assholes who feel the need to slam me for my opinion. That's all.

So no, you are not the only drug free one here.

But I do/did use them fairly frequently.

Did so since the beginning of 99, cained it heavily though high-school, and still got 78% for grade 12

Yes, they are bad for you, but so are most things in life.
The damage I have caused to myself over the past 4.5 years will be a hella lot less than the damage caused by say all the ciggarette's most of the non-users out there smoke (I dont smoke cigs at all).

I've never felt the bad after-effects of drug use, but that prolly just me, I do see most people get them pooey after-effects.

I've tried everything expect the hardest of the hard (Crack, herion, mandrax)

I have been addicted to amphetemines, but got over that as soon as I realised I was.

I have never done anything bad as a result of or to suppport my usage in any way.

I have just recently phased out weed and coke (had my last bit of coke at a party 2 weeks ago), plan to phase out everything but acid (my fav) by the end of this year (meaning I can still get muntered at Global Gathering) and I plan to phase acid out by the end of next year.

Why?

Coz I've had my fun. They still work, and are still fun, but I doubt my luck will last as long as it has. The after-effects WILL eventually catch up with me if I keep doing it til I'm like 30 (I am 20 now), so I may as well quit while I'm ahead

I by no means think drugs are as bad as they are made out to be, if I could go back and alter my decisions back then I wouldn't. By the same token, I dont force them on anyone, it's your choice, but just don't judge others if you don't know all the facts.

If you want to try it, go for it, it is fun, just be responsible.

ppl who are addicted hardcore probably don't own computers so therefore arn't on this messageboard...

the thing about drugs, they are often an escape and ppl bash on that. however, there are some shitty things in this world that need escaping from. when you take an e you don't think about kids starving and people dying, you think about how good the music is. i don't think drugs are bad at all unless you let them control your life.

it's just very stupid imo, and the Trance scene has bad reputation because of those who take drugs I'm totally against drugs. If I talk with someone about trance or a rave party, they think of drugs, they have like an image that every1 takes drugs and that there is noone who is "normal" there..
