or maybe your boyfriend didn't jerk you off the night before...

lol dude, he isn't even Japanese. I know he made some negative comments regarding the show and that's just his opinion. In my opinion, it wasn't necessary for you to say "FLY BACK TO JAPAN AND GO WATCH YOUR KARATE KID SHIT BLAH BLAH BLAH"

I think it's time for you to grow up....

One more thing.....your quote says "Peace, Love and Empathy" Man, you are one horrible hypocrite.

You're a real piece of work

I love how you throw in the lame ass 'I'm glad I didn't pay to see it thing'. Pathetic really.

Honestly,,, I can't remember the last time I came across someone so ignorrant in this forum. You do realize that you're just rambling on looking like a complete asshole without justifing any of your arguments.

you sound like a newbie to clubs

no, i just hate them
but you sound like you're new to the trance scene

i dont know what you like, and i couldnt give two shits, but you definately sound a tad too arrogant. stop thinking that you know it all cause the way you're acting just shows that you dont. if you want to hear new shit, tune to the world tour show on idt or buy a ferry cd. have you EVER heard a liveset from a party where a DJ played new stuff and things that the crowd didnt care much for? doesnt seems like it. now grow up, get educated, and then bitch.

oh yeah, and the idiot comment just sounds stupid on your part

I wish I could go back to that night again! fun times!

Mr. miyagi... just currious, what songs would you have wanted ferry to play? Obviously you had some expectations when you went to the show.. was there any tunes in particular you wanted to hear? I would have loved to see ferry but i live in alberta... had i had the chance, i would have loved to hear the old shit.. thats part of a dj's history and it is like a good trip down memory lane that sounds way better on loud speakers then my weak headphones.

i think this sums up my feeling about his choice of old selections nicely. i dont feel that if a dj chooses to play old tracks, that it is a bad thing, and i dont feel its realistic to expect a dj to play 100% new stuff the whole time.

i was at a club in bellingham last year, and lo and behold, the dj started playing endless wave. you have NO IDEA how happy that made me... i hadnt heard that song in so long, and here i was, able to hear it loud, to dance to it, etc.

i was absolutely tickled when ferry played out of the blue. the first trance that really moved me was trance nation volume 1 (mixed by ferry corsten.. i got to tell him that at the show, it made me happy)... out of the blue was on that cd. it brought back so many memories of that time of my life.

im glad he played old stuff. im glad he played the other stuff he played, also. im not a dj, i dont go to the record store and scour the albums... as long as it sounds great and hes into the crowd, i have a good time. many of you in the back prolly didnt get the experience elena and i did.. watching ferry's expressions go from intently mixing, to amazement of the crowd, to interaction, etc. it was just great.

HAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA

OMG, I can't believe I've been missing this thread =P

Just for the record, my brother got back from the UK Sunday night. He had seen Ferry 3 times in the previous 2 months and 6 times there over 2 years. He ranked the Van show up there with the best of them as far as the music went.

I love the fact that Ferry played a bunch of old tracks. They were, after all, HIS TRACKS.

first of all, HOW COULD YOU HAVE FORGOTTEN ABOUT THE SHOW???????????????????????????

i wouldnt say the set was half and half
ferry played quite a few newer tracks, some ive never heard before, and he droped a few nice classics here and there. i'd say the set was well balanced. he didnt give the crowd a minute to rest and just stand, something that happened at tiesto. ferry just kept on going and going, from the start he had everyone going crazy, all the way till the very last track

SAME HERE!!! i love that song...I don't care how old is it but to hear in on a loud system is SO NICE!!!!!

Posted by Panuna on Jun-23-2003 09:14:

Hey guys, u forgot one of the most important songs in his set : Veracocha - carta blanca
Download it and u'll see whut i'm talking about. This, and Tenshi made the night for me.
I was extremely happy to see so many TAs @ Ferry considering the small croud of ppl, and the shitty club. I knew ppl were able to appreciate the music, and that is whut made it sooo much cooler.
He is a fukin GOD!! right up there with Tisto, and PvD!

Posted by Panuna on Jun-23-2003 09:24:

sorry, its spelled carte blanche (in french, not spanish...i mixed em up)
