Since I don't think I 'm going to WEMF, this will be a small but very fun replacement.

Posted by mot10n on Jul-15-2003 02:21:

I Might go, since I haven't gone to ANy last partes here, only in Montreal, this should be fun . However, it might be fun to sneak into the WEMF again this year! hehehe!

Ah, Orkidea's great. I wouldn't say he's most into the harder stuff, but more to the opposite. In the end, he's a talented man who knows how to please his crowd.

Sounds spiffy - I'll be there.

I think it's been 3 yrs or so since i hit (s)Limelight/Afterlife. should be interesting.

cheers

Hatim's a lazy bum. Get on his ass enough about it, and we'll see if he attends.

Look forward to this event!

BTW, a friend of mine is using the Patio for her Jungle/DnB weekly events. Lets hope the club will allow us to switch rooms!

Master Plan:
I'll be switching back and forth all night! Once Orikdea is on ... I'll be pushing ppl out of my way to get to the main room! Must see this BOD MON in action again!

Posted by Durafei on Jul-18-2003 18:24:

Any ideas when will Orkidea's set start/end? Will this be an all night party?

Posted by drewfactor on Jul-19-2003 03:54:

I am also wondering when Orkidea will be starting and finishing? Can't wait for this!

Hey E2EK1EL, I love that Avatar. That's one of my favorite scenes from Human Traffic...."this shit is rot as botulism mate....they're called itchy trigga finga niggas"

is it anthemic raging trance a la Tiesto? or is it harder? please tell me it's not progressive...i can't deal with that stuff.

this is my first post btw. been lurking for a month or two.

cheers

Orkidea is a great dj (and producer). Check out his track "Unity" as well as his remixes for leama - labyrinth and Flight 643. His livesets are very diverse and he'll drop anything from progressive or uplifting trance to more housey and electro vibes.

Welcome to TA

after much searching, i finally found a recent liveset and one of his radio unity sets. definitely some good stuff...but i can see why everyone's having such difficulty categorizing his style.

cheers

The radio Unity sets are good, I also had a hard time getting a hold of one...there's not a lot of his stuff out there on peer to peer..from my experience. How would you categorize his style?

You think 3 hours of sleep is gonna help you out much? It will prolly be worse than having no sleep at all.

Posted by samhouse on Jul-20-2003 20:31:

Guys i was wondering if any of you can hook me and a buddy up with a ride back into Mississauga for this Thursday night. Getting there isnt a problem, its just that a ride back would be much appreciated...either reply over here or email me at [email protected] if you can...

THANKS

THIS JUST IN!!!

THIS JUST IN, QUOTE FROM ORKIDEA.

"I'm very excited to come over again and I'm looking very much
forward to both of the gigs. Thursday will definitely be a true musical journey starting from some nice warm house grooves building into some tougher progressive stuff. I will definitely drop some electro and breakz too. The end of the night will be purely beautiful trance sounds with maybe some edgier techno sounds in between... I hope the people will be with me with this journey "

so,let's make sure we're with him on this incredible journey. it sounds like he's out to take us all on a musical experience unlike any other.

i think this may end up being one of the best musical experiences i've had in a very long, long time!

thanks for keeping the vibe alive ari!

cheers,
spaceman.
