i will be leaving the great city of miami in 1 month to attend University of South Carolina School of Medicine. the amount of time i have to spend on TA will decline severly.

I go to University of Maryland: College Park. I'll be a sophomore next semester.

I almost didn't go to school, but I did end up going, and I love living on campus 500 times more than at home. I am a comp sci major now, but I really dont want to have a job programming shit, EVER. So right now, i am just doin the college thing, and seeing how it all turns out.

how hard do YOU think it would be for an out of state student to get accepted?? My dad has this thing and wants me to go there. I don't mind, its a big school, lot of people, i'm ok with it I guess. But I'm not sure if I will want to later....anyway, how hard to get in?

I don't go to FIT, but I live about six or seven blocks away from it.

APPLY! Only way to find out - I was out-of-state too! It is a big school but that's why it never gets old. Ann Arbor is a SWEET college town and UMICH a GREAT school...Besides, what's better than going to Michigan Football games on Saturdays at the Big House with 111,000 other people?!?! Nothing compares....Good luck if you decide to give it a shot! GO BLUE!!!

Wow, a couple Stony Brook people here... I took a summer Calc II course there a few years ago. It's actually a pretty nice place, esp. for a state school (I live nearby). My brother's going there this Fall.

I graduated from University at Buffalo (as seen on MTV) with a degree in Comp Sci and there's no jobs out there, so I'm gonna go to Adelphi University on Long Island in the fall for a MBA.
