I was there but this was before my TA days.

It turned out to be a GREAT party (well PvD tore it up) despite it not being remotely anywhere near the water.

ULTRA CONVENTION FEST haha.

This party was indeed fantastic.

O man - I remember having a disposable camera at this party - I was just too fuked I didn't take any pictures.

Ooh and I went with my friend to pick up Donald Glaude at the airport and his records were lost for like an hour - he had to go on later...

i feel like i just got punk'd...i read this whole thread thinking it was current and was so excited that I missed all dates and references to it being an old event until i got to the last 2 posts before mine...FML =(

It was one of the best parties and Paul played incredibly awesome. I was just wondering if there was ever a review since ppl like arturo were ACTIVE on this forum and he was a huge pvd whore.

almost 32! when i was cleaning up last year i found a space flyer from a pvd show from 2001. time flies....

I did not go but didn't the party get move to the AA arena and have a much smaller lineup like PVD and Icey

it got moved to the Miami Beach Convention Center

it was botched as far as the lineup too...1 stage, had to hear a lot of really whack music before PvD closed but it was so worth it. PvD's set was really awesome.

He played NOTHING [93 Returning mix] <3 and he played As The Rush Comes when it was new/non cheesy/and not played out. It was like an anthem then haha.

I think it ended up being donal glaude, icey, Paul,and like maybe 2 more ppl.


Yeah it was supposed to originally have like 2 stages.. then went down to 1 when it got moved indoors.

Lis and I were 18 when we went to this party! lmfao. Geez

oo and PvD's encore (with the lights ON) was Nothing but you - before it was played out.\

This is old. I was browsing through my brain about this event I had forgotten about it.
Yea I remember Ultra didn't get permission to host the party on the beach, in fact I remembered the event almost got canceled because of it and so it got moved to the convention center.
From what I can remember it was a good party, for some reason I got there kinda late, wow what the freak happened I had to be on something.. I remember Nothing but You got played and I smiled
