Imo communicate is one of the weaker songers on the album, as I am not so kean on the lyrics. But "Paris" on the other hand is a top notch production with decent lyrics prolly the best track on the album next to "Force of gravity", which is due to have some top notch remixes that im sure will destroy dancefloors.

right on fr0st!!!!!!!!!!

lmao!!! If the album is shitty, its shitty. Just because he has produced some of the best tracks ever (Flaming June, Godspeed, Dreaming...) doesn't mean you have to be on his dick. He slapped the trance music world in the face with this album. Maybe BT and Oakay should colaborate on a new project "Emotional Bunkka" I'm done with this topic, I'm tired of wasting my time with this album.

...!!???!?!??!?!? YES, do us all a favour and never post here or in TA at all....geez, know what you're talking about before you go yacking away loser

ps. it's OAKEY, and just because a producer doesn't come out with a particular style you like, doesn't make him bad.. Oakey is a legend

Bunkka was alot better than this. If only for Southern Sun and Zoo York it would be better!

im liking the sound of this album so far. it's really interesting to see a slight change of sound. however this album seems to appear more to the mainstream crowds than his previous albums. escm is still my favorite though

Interesting hearing all the different opinions on the album.
On a side note does anyone know why Love In The Time Of Thieves isn't on the album.

"Love in the time of theives" was a collaberation with beber and tamera and may be released as Beber & Tamera Feat. BT on bebers label.. All and all i belive BT did a total of 24 tracks 12 of which have made it to the current US release... Sooo im sure there is a lot we havent heard yet

48 total tracks

Unhappy

I was rather underwhelmed by the whole album... there weren't any stand out tracks for me, just way too many rockish tracks sang by BT. Even Jan Johnston's talents are wasted on Communicate... it starts off decently enough but the poor chorus ruins it all. Too bad they couldn't come up with any better for Jan's fine voice. There are some nice production touches on this album but I can't see myself listening to this album anymore. BT's new style is just not doing it for me... too bad. 5/10

Let's just say hanging around with the norgers has been a bad influence

There must be a good reason for it tho...
I wouldn't say anything until I look through the booklet!

Thumbs up

I just finished listening to this album and I must say that I loved it. BT is a musical genius IMO. I will definately purchase this once it hits the shelves.

Is the cover that promo pic of BT doing what looks like praying? Didn't Oakenfold do a famous promo pic just like that, except his head wasn't as tilted down...?

Maybe he is praying to break into the Total Request Live countdown on MTV with his new material. (joking, don't shoot me!)

IMO this album is perfect, I even like the rock and roll songs at the end.

This is truly a phenomenal piece of work by BT... I've listened to all of his previous work, and various other stuff... If you've paid attention to BT he likes to shift his sounds often, this is no exception, It's got more of the breakbeat/rap roots than some of his other albums have had. If you expect an artist to stay exactly the same forever, this probably isnt the album for you, but after listening to it once, I'm in love with it, as I have been with all of BT's previous contributions.

He's my favorite DJ that isnt a DJ. =)

As always, the musical side of things (the mixing, production, etc) is top notch. BT never lets down there. I love how "complicated" or "deep" his mixes are... there is always so much going on in his songs it takes a few listens to catch all the different layers.

As for the lyrics, they get whackier every album, and now they're to the point where a couple tracks I just skip. To me, the lyrics matter as much as the music. If it's cheesy or embarrassing or just plain weird, I can't stand listening to it, even if the music is awesome.

So far some of the tracks definitely stand out as excellent - Somnambulist, PARIS, Force of Gravity.

i think i'm gonna go out and do my best to find and buy this album; bt's works got stolen a while ago and now after all that he still managed to produce this, kudos to him. i think this album deserves to be bought, although i haven't heard it yet, but bt owns!

what's the name of the new 'great escape' remix dave dresden and

armin have been hammering. the shane 54 remix of 'communicate' is

another phat track armin hammered a couple weeks ago on asot.

This album is amazing, little late adding my comments put only checked it out fully this month, great stuff.

The prouction is scary, this album gets me excited about music and will do for months to come, go BT !

Little crazy fact, did you guys know there is 1,654 edits on the vocal for "Somnambulist" !

Enjoying the first part of the album as opposed to the later, but amazing album.
