My parents bought me a car once ... the hood didn't latch down, it leaked power steering fluid, the a/c didn't work, it had 200,000+ miles on it, I had to go to a junkyard to find parts for it to pass inspection, it started shaking horrendously at 65mph, and its brakes cut out on me once.

Boy did my parents love spoiling me.
