LMAO @ AMPBURNERS PICTURE!!!!!! THATS BRILLIENT!!!!! *coup thinks about emailing this thread to the amercian government*

Okay first off Clinton had absoulty nothing to do with the American economy being as strong as it is. Ever hear of someone called Allen Greenspan. He is the sole reason the economy is thriving look it up and do some research. Second Clinton was one of the worst Presidents the country has ever seen he is an embarassment to America, dont believe me spend less time in this fourm and look at what Clinton spent his entire term of office on Medicare he biggest piece of shit bill ever passed.

Third Bush is actuall a good priesdent, reason being he knows hes not the sharpest tool in the shed, so what does he do, he surronds himself with the brightest cabinet members this country has seen for a long time. And guess what people, the cabinet and the House of Rep. is what actually runs the country. The Pres in all actually is just a figure head.

I said it in one of the other threads and I'll say it again, before most of you here start bashing the President and America you might want to educate yourselves on how the country actually operates. I hate to say but most of you just sound ignorant you have absolutly no idea about the way your Country operates, and your whats wrong with America not the politicans or the President.

And LiquidX you might wanna learn who's actually running your state his name is Jeb Bush not Jeff.
And the republican leader who left the senate had nothing to do with Bush, his name was Trent Lott and he left because he had an affair on his wife, and unlike that idiot Clinton, he chose to save face and show some Honor and Integrity and stood down.
And lastly the voting thing had nothing to do with race, people were trying to register after the deadline. And the ballot issue was pure stupidity, Think about this, if someone cannot figure out which lever to pull for there choice maybe that moron shouldn't be deciding who's going to be running the most powerful country in the world.

A very intelligent and well thought rebuttle, and I have to say that you are 100% correct. I couldn't have said it any better.

Those kinds of things don't just happen, they take years, planning, and the right people for the job.... And look at the economy now... We are feeling the effects of Clintons wild spending spree on this program, and that program... I'm not defending W, but if you're gonna knock him, at least know the facts...
u make a good point..BUT...u will notice that clinton didnt fuck the economy as soon as he got into office either, which is what W. Bush did.....he KEPT it up for 8 years...GB may have put it in motion but clinton kept it running.......and as for clintons *scandals*----his one scandal, had absolutley not a thing to do with being the president...u know how often those things happen in the real world..they just dont get brought up, this one only did cause he was pres...

GWB is just an asshole.....he wants to mess up that wildlife reserve up in alaska that is home to thousands of caribou, and the oil that is under there would be consumed in like 3 fuking days or something!!!!

Trancaholic,

Let me tell you something you may or may not know... I don't know if you've ever been to the US, but this country is much more conservative than anyone might think. Most people are religious, and quite a few very conservative. A lot of things that are okay in Europe are taboo here, which is surprising given that America is such a young democracy. Plus the American and European mentalities are completely different.

Just something to keep in mind when discussing stuff like the Lewinsky thing and other issues.

Nope... but the persentage of stupid americans is less then that, its the people who live in texas and small citys who are dumb, ALL of new york and california voted for Gore, all the rednecks, white trash, voted for bush, and there was the little "incident" in florida, which Bush's Brother (jeb bush) cheated

Posted by AnotherWay83 on Jun-22-2001 02:52:

trinity..i'm afraid im gonna have to take u up on sum of ur points..i may be wrong, im not a political scientist..

a)about the medicare bill...u said it was a shit bill? well, i hope u know WHY, because when president clinton was trying to get it passed HIS way, congress had a majority of REPUBLICANS in both houses and they would not let him have his way because the bill would be bad for big business

b)as for the president being a just a figurehead, i must say i disagree. i mean its true that he does not have absolute power and stuff, but he plays a *major* role is *shaping* congress's agenda...just keep that in mind...so if it wasn't for clinton and his focus on the economy, maybe we would not have been in such a good place. don't u remember his campaing slogan? "it's the economy, stupid!" heheh...yes im not saying that alan greenspan wasn't cool...he prolly is the main guy..

arright gotta go lates

peace

>Clinton spent his entire term of office on Medicare he biggest piece of shit bill ever passed

oh no, people cant have medicare... they all must DIE!

>Second Clinton was one of the worst Presidents the country has ever seen

then how come he got elected his second time?????

He was a good president and would of been elected for a 3rd term if he could

>Ever hear of someone called Allen Greenspan. He is the sole reason the economy is thriving look it up and do some research.

then how come the economy is going down after Bush got elected?

>and your whats wrong with America not the politicans or the President

most of the people here dont live in america, and we the people know who should run our counrty.

Like another person said before, the reason people vote for bush is that he will allow them to have Guns. The way bush see's this is if everyone has Guns, then everyone will be safe. I dont know about anyone here, but I would prefer that NOBODY has guns, I mean, doesnt that sound logical? if nobody has guns, then you cant get shoot! wouldnt you live better knowing that the only people that have guns are the police man.

If there were any gun restrictions, the incident at colonbine would of never happend, along with a 7-year-old kid shooting a 6-year-old in his school! (7 year old with a gun?????)

kids over 18 can get guns as easy as candy, I wouldnt wana live in a place where that is possible, and thats what Bush wants.

I live in Toronto, and I'd say that in this province (Ontario) maybe 1 in every 1000 people owns a gun, in texas 95/100 people own a gun!

Posted by LiquidX on Jun-22-2001 03:41:

When was it said that the guy that left the senate, left because he was heaving an afair ?!?! thats bull.. let me tell you why he left.
He left because he had different ideas then what bushe's ideas where( republicans ideas as a whole ) he also left because he was not getting along with his republican mates, and because he was not invited to some educational celebrations , in wich he should've been since he has to do with the educational part .

I doubt once again that the afair with his wife is bull, if it was indeed true, it would've been said, and his mates wouldnt kept telling him to stay, and stay, offering him MONEY ! to stay..

The republicans, all they can think of is generate money for them and make people poor more poor. The guns, thats money for big buisenesses, they win money, petroleum, wow, what smart team there, his got a Petroleum cabinet full of cowboys. There's the FCAT test here in FL ( thanx to republican brother Jeb Bush ) where public schools, if they score low, they will get LESS money, poor schools always score low, so they are super poor, thanx to the fellow mates of the republicans.
All they care about is money... and money.....
Thank god the democrats just now have the power of the congress, where the laws are passed.

About GB, ask him where INDIA is, or the capital of lets say, South Africa, he'll go .... where's south africa ?!!?!?

Not a chance in the world would he have been re-elected, with a man with this much power & as much scandal and controversy....never!!!

Just think of his final acts as president, the pardons...remember??!!..umm, good president, nope.

Posted by LiquidX on Jun-22-2001 03:57:

But in the polls it showed he did have chance, obviously it wouldnt been possible, but he did have the chance.

Technically speaking, anyone who makes the requirements has a chance... its probably 1 in a quadrillion (or something obscene like that), but they have a chance...

flame the world...once again the collective intelligence of Yevat and Coup is forced upon our senses. I like George W. Bush. All of my relatives are from the South. By their (Yevat & Coup's) reasoning that would mean that they are all brainless, inbreeding, tobacco-chewing pig farmers. Am i right or am i right?

I can't judge whether that explanation is reassuring or really worrying. I hope one day everybody would be TA's then the world wouldn't be in the mess it is today.
