i love how even on a board called TRANCEaddict, the main topic of discussion is still the stupidity of the jungle lineup.

andy c is easily the biggest d&b dj of the past 5 years, zinc has always been one of the top, and high contrast is MAD popular right now.

these guys could fill the KH.

last year i didn't leave the orange room, and during andy's set, when the doors were closed and we were packed in at double capacity, it was a little frightening.
i don't want to miss these three dj's in one night, but fuck - i smell a fiasco.

Guess not, since barely anyone has committed to seeing the only true trance Man at this event. Oh well, I imagine Ferry won't start until around 4am, so once all you prog/house/techno/jungle/whatever the fuck you guys are into these days have had your fill, it will leave more room for me to dance and get close to Ferry and have him sign my CD.

Yea im there to see SASHA! I dont know if youve ever heard of him or not but he plays quality trance music unlike your boy Fairy. Just because the music isnt pumping @ 140 BPM and every song doesnt have a long ass breakdown and synths that sound like a million other trance tunes that have preceeded it does not mean that its not trance. But hey if your into 'euro-trance' then im sure you'll have fun in the Kool Haus when he comes on. In fact, maybe you'd have fun at Palazzo too, the music they play there isnt too far off from what Ferry plays. But hey just keep convincing yourself that thats not the case. Its OK!!!

Just because alot of us like varied types of music and arent linear with our tastes in music like you seem to be is no reason to be frustrated.

bla bla. Sasha aint trance man....he used to be (Xpander), but they have him in the Progressive House room for a reason. He's not bad, but 4 hours of him and I'd be on my ass sleeping.

does anyone have set times??

Posted by AwakenedAddict on Aug-08-2003 20:43:

DAMN! we've got everyone in here talking about sasha (snore) and ferry (not too bad), but hell!! DJ DAN is up in the house.. and he should pump it like normal!! That's my #1 DJ of the night!!

Posted by infinity HiGH on Aug-09-2003 09:47:

Damn, I'd love to go for this but I won't be able to afford it. I just came back from a 5-day trip up north (in Poland, by the Baltic Sea)) and blew all my money on clubs, booze and food (and train tickets back home). And right now I'm more concerned about getting some money for next weekend so I can go back there......paradise.

But why does it say Delta Heavy by Sasha's name? Is this going to be his Delta Heavy show without John Digweed??

probably.....

Posted by SeventhSun on Aug-09-2003 14:17:

Ferry is the only guy I wanna see, sasha bores me now, liked his older stuff though, andy c kicks ass but i'm not missioning just for him, mark oliver seen him a million times he also will be troublesome to get too,

prolly be be in the KH all night

Posted by Viceroy on Aug-09-2003 15:31:

I am tempted to go to this, but after last years disgusting capacity I doubt I will.

I remember everyone saying how they will never go to another labor of love, let alone the guvernment after last years end of summer. I would love to see everyone stick to their guns so that the guv has to enforce capacity rules.

Don't get me wrong, this is a sick lineup....but unless I knew they were not going to pack it like a sardine can I won't bother.

Peace,
Steve

Posted by c0ld 0ne on Aug-18-2003 02:38:

weak....

last year's lineup was much better.

Posted by Trigger on Aug-18-2003 05:13:

Well Bad Boy Bill was just here, Armin will be back in Oct most likely for his NA album tour, Deep Dish have been here a ton of times recently so personally I look forward to the change in lineup. No doubt it would have been great to had some more trance headliners along with Ferry but hey I'll take it. Thank god he's in the KH - dunno if I'll bother with Guvt aside from James Zabiela - he was awesome the last time he was here at System. If you're looking for a scratch master then he'll suitably fill in for Bad Boy.

Noticed on Rank 1's site that they were tentatively booked for this event but sadly doesn't look like it worked out I seriously hope SOMEONE can bring these guys here finally. Seems everytime it doesn't work out...hint hint TR perhaps....but it would have to be their live show...

Anyway I'm sure Ferry will satisfy the trance side of things at least for me. Too bad the jungle's in the Drink as it'll be hell trying to get up to the Skybar to see some of our great locals (Dekoze, Addy Evil P...) At any rate I'm looking forward to hanging in the KH most of the night - let's all hope we don't get a repeat of last year though they did take a lot of heat for it so let's see what happens this time 'round....

Posted by samhouse on Aug-18-2003 10:04:

my prediction

its gonna be hot but well worth it
